We soon saw another manta. This time I made sure I didn't scare it off and settled down on the edge of the cleaning station (a purple coral reef) to watch it play in the clouds of little fishes. The downside is that I didn't get any photos of it.
Later on in the dive we had another manta ray fly past - a real privelege to be able to just float and watch it ignore us.
Divers on the bottom. Everyone wears extra weight to make it easier to kneel on the bottom, and then we all got in a big circle around a crate of large lights. Each diver also had a flashlight, which you hold just in front of you and point upwards, creating a giant column of light. The mantas then swoop across the circle eating plankton and turning loop-de-loos all around and above us.
