Mantaray taken at The Dig. The curved glass made them look ridiculously huge underwater.
The Dig is an elaborate maze of interconnected tunnels and chambers with archaeological ruins and underwater inhabitants depicting the Lost City of Atlantis.
AquaDom & Sea Life Berlin. Has hundreds of fish, octopus, jellyfish and many different kinds of rays. It also has the longest elevator through a fish tank (25 meters) in the world.
The report, entitled “Manta Ray of Hope: The Global Threat to Manta and Mobula Rays” provides the most far-reaching research ever conducted into both the intensive overfishing of mantas and mobulas as well as the trade in their gill rakers that are driving mantas and mobulas to the point of population collapse.

Seen at Lankan Manta Point
From the moment I started to dive (years ago...) I loved mantas. And I still get exited when I see these gentle giants.

The manta ray is the largest species of the rays. The largest known specimen was more than 7.6 metres (25 ft) across, with a weight of about 1,300 kilograms (2,900 lb). It ranges throughout tropical waters of the world, typically around coral reefs. They have the largest brain-to-body ratio of the sharks, rays and skates.
