Playing around with Photoshop. I used a baby's picture because it was handy with the right expression. I'm not a sadistic guy!

This rope was just there, beneath the front porch. I've no idea what purpose it was serving.

Although Marietta's July 4 parade was rained out, crowds still celebrated Independence Day at the City's Fourth in the Park Festival July 4, 2015, with a celebration on the Square, free concerts, museum tours, arts and crafts show, food, carnival games and a fireworks finale.

Manipulation changes the whole appearance of an image, and here I have replaced the awful sky blue colour that Arriva use on it's DMU's with a more acceptable green colour. I think it looks quite snazzy to be honest. The DMU is 175110.

An abandoned warehouse speaks.

This round got me paired with a UK lady named Clare-T

Her push to me was :

One thing that struck me about your stream is that there are few (if any) high key images.

My push to you is to take an image dominated by bright tones, with very low contrast between

lights and shadows. If you choose to accept this challenge you can choose the subject -

be it a still life or a portrait and it can be outdoors using natural light

if you don't have access to any lighting. Have fun!

I was under the impression I had already some high key selfie pics (see 2nd comment),

but still accepted the challenge because wanted to work with extra lighting etc..

Maybe I was lazy, or occupied with other projects, or the holiday feeling took over my working attitude..

@ last, when I found it was high time to deliver my contribution and forfill my push,

stepped into the garden and took some snapshots without tripod, using natural light and overexposing the image..

A very simple, cheap and creative way of getting a high key affect..

Of course I manipulated the series via Picasa..

Clare-T I hope this counts !

& please check out her wonderful stream !

The Electrotomic Manipulator was the most powerful handgun of the late1800's. The kick was so powerful it could break a man's wrist. Therefore, it was necessary to grip the ray gun with both hands. The EM delivered a devastating round which could disintergrate a charging elephant at a hundred yards. -GP

Galaxy Note 4, digitally manipulated

Longer ago than I care to admit, I was dropping our recyclables off, and saw the face of this ‘EXIT’ sign sitting atop a pile of plastic bottles when I opened one of the bin doors. So of course, I took it and threw it into the back of my truck.

And some things that should not have been forgotten, were lost.

History became legend, legend became myth, and for two-and-a-half months, the sign passed out of all knowledge.

Until, when chance came, it ensnared a beholder, who noticed it one Sunday afternoon while getting gas and happened to have his camera at hand. Partially obscured by the colorful leaves of fall, all is placed and arranged as it was naturally.

The Photoshop work is mine, however.

My precious.

Yeh. I had an idea many people have had. I thought i'd give it a go. Unfortunately, I had to hold the orange and apple in place with my finger, so it was quite hard to do. I am going to redo it with more orange showing and more light on the left.
