This is one of a series of photo manipulation. There's a total of 10 different photos used for this picture. I used Adobe Photoshop for the manipulation process. It's called "Self portrait" because each photo is a representation of feelings in which everyone can have their own conclusion on whats really happening to the subject and letting the picture speak for itself.
We belong to a very fun and friendly Flickr group called Down Under Challenge. If you are interested in photo manipulation you might like to join us. A new challenge photo is posted every Friday for everyone to work with. Details and group rules can be found on the group's home page. Please note, only challenge photos may be posted to the pool.

"I don't know what you did there doc, but I got 15 channels out of one ear, 15 channels out the other ear, and Fox News pouring out my butt"
Photo manipulation. Highly edited photo. Much of the hair and make up was done in photoshop.

Thursday afternoon,
there was a tea time break.
my friend told me his future dreams,
and i was in my dreams.

Image is deliberately manipulated to be cartoonishly saturated, just like all the popular landscape cliques :)

Started out as a picture of the full Moon thru a wet window, but after manipulating it 28 times this is what happens. The water drops on the window colorized and distorted are what you are seeing.
Created poses in Daz4 Pro rendered in Bryce7 Pro - 3D programs - no post manipulation or camera

I'll get back to normal photography from tomorrow, but just a few examples of photo manipulation today to pose some questions. When Aldous Huxley wrote "Brave New World" in 1932 he could not have imagined how prescient it would be. Along with George Orwell's "1984", both books go together and mirror the world in which we live today in frightening ways.

This old Celsius thermometer not only gives you the temperature but also shows the kind of day you will be having. For those not into Celsius.-30 would be -22 Fahrenheit, and +50 would be 122 degrees, which should cover most of the temps we could handle

We all know there's no such thing as the Man on the Moon, but there appears to be a pretty lady up there. This is a real image taken with my new long distance lens.
This is my latest photo manipulation project. I’m trying out new style of art. Came out a little, well a lot darker and surreal then I pictured in my head. Had a lot of fun making this.
Created for Mixmaster 13 in the Artistic Manipulation Group following Chef Beth's recipe:
➤ Your image must be a pure, non-representational abstract.
➤ It may NOT contain any recognizable objects or beings. Note: it may be digital art from a blank canvas and/or a photo manipulation, as long as the subject of the photo is not recognizable in the final result.
➤ Your image must convey/embody an emotion.
➤ The title of your image must be a quotation that includes the name of whatever emotion you have chosen.
➤ Your image must use three distinct colors/hues (besides black and white which are optional). Note: light, medium and dark blue are NOT distinct hues; blue, green and purple are.
This abstract started as a blank grey canvass to which I added layers of texture, and purple, blue and green paint using brushes in Photoshop Elements 13.
The texture layers are my own.
