An afternoon of vintage baseball featuring the Indianapolis Hoosiers, White River Baseball Club, St.Louis Unions, Batesville Lumbermen, Indianapolis Blues, St.Louis Perfectos, Vermillion Voles and the Mulberry Manglers played under 19th Century rules.
normally i would just tear into something like this. but we had already discussed going to jeni's. so, why bother with tiramisu? that said, the two bites i had were pretty good.

This is my new favorite Jiufen street snack: a ball of soft, warm taro dough filled with a mildly sweet coconut paste, then rolled in either shredded coconut, peanut, or sesame.
Saw this guy at the game. He was wearing his sunglasses on top of his head, which totally messed up his carefully coiffed hawk-do. :)
I was moving the camera to get his picture. I know it's not great, but I sorta liked how it looked.
This mangle was exhibited alongside the War memorabilia - doing sterling work for the War Effort!
