Part of my experimentation yesterday whilst trying to create a graffitti stencil from a photo. Completely wrong for a stencil, but liked this effect.
Been trying to get those elevated spectator seats with the loo seat adornment....classic!
Not entirely sure about the shot though, tried for drama but is hard to tell from the shot what the drama is about i.e. scene of a good trashing! and mangled remains.

Statement:
Coming up with an concept for my piece put me in a challenging spot. I knew I wanted to do something colorful but calming; as I started to paint on a blank canvas I realized all I was doing was putting color together and there was no real meaning behind. I was just placing paint on a canvas. However I continued to paint, just throwing more color into a meaningless piece however, instead of washing my brush off and placing it onto a paper towel I decided to put it onto another piece of paper. Soon after, I started to realize the thing I had put no thought into actually had more meaning than the piece I had been working on this entire time. It contained my frustration and confused emotions about the piece I was trying to give meaning too. Yet it was calming to place color on the page without having to think too much. Similar to Esteban Vicente's Madrigal piece my piece is an emotionally charged composition. The palette consists of similar contrasting colors but is abstract is its own way.
