Each morning I set a 5 gallon pail in the crock that is half full of sand and cut up enough mangles and beets to fill it. All of the animals except Dolly have learned to eat them. It gives them something fresh and crispy. Some of the mangles have the prettiest rings on the inside.
Cogs! I love cogs. These remind me of lock gates. Cog-shaped things that are actually buttons are even better than the real thing.

Part of Ring Road bridge destroyed by the last Jokulhlaup (a massive flash flood that happen following volcanic eruptions under the Icecap) in 2000. This flood reach a flow rate of over 50000 cubic feet per second which is greater that the flow of every river in the world except the Amazon River. These are the types of flood that created the Sandurs.
