This model was static, & since the majority of my display is motorized I decided to motorize this model. I used a Faller, 16V AC motor. I built a motor mount that I attached beneath my display & ran the driveshaft up from the motor to the center of the model. The upper portion of the model rests on the driveshaft. The model runs very smoothly.

Red Mangroves growing in rocks. Not your typical view of this tree. This is on Hog Island on the southwestern corner of Grenada in the Caribbean.
