From being home to the Iowa Teacher of the Year to a soccer team making consecutive trips to the State tournament, it's been a big year for Hoover High Schools. The Huskies topped it off by celebrating more than 160 graduates during the Class of 2024 commencement on Sunday morning at Drake University's Knapp Center.

This time there was no sun and no water. The tide was completely out. If the floor had been sand and not mud we could have walked all the way out to Hoo Fort (which incidentally is government protected)
