Making Off de hoje, amanhã estarei postando uma das encomendas que mais gostei de fazer, foi dificil, demorou, mas valeu muito a pena! Só tenho uma coisa para falar, quero uns desses para mim! xDD
During our boat trip down the Mekong river, we visited a village on the river bank. The villagers made rice paper and other sorts of local food to make money.
Dificuldade não há quando colecionador quer tirar foto dos seus colecionáveis?!?! Brincadeira, é proeza!!!!!!
Foto tirada pelo irmão, também colecionador incurável.
I rested a bit; my hip was bothering me, and then headed for the grade crossing to check the tracks since my view was blocked. Of course just as I got there a headlight popped up to the east! I Grrrrrrr! I hobbled back down the platform to get clear of the machinery; luckily the train was a slow poke due to the work zone, and I made it almost to the east end before I had to take a stand.

"I exist in the relations. Others create me and I am a reflection of others. I wanna be part of you - your body, your moment, your story, and your life. Once I met him. This encounter is still a memorable moment of something that moves me forward, let me dance and spin around. His body stucked to mine and we were breathing together. I have been embraced from inside, I became part of him. We were together, once and for ever."
Build your design on your Gelli plate, letting it dry thoroughly between additions of paint. Your tape will look like what is on the top of the plate (the lower layers of paint will not show). Once it is totally dry, pull off strips of color onto clear packaging tape -- creating "skins".

Taken on my phone. Milly and I go down this track, or one of the many others around the house, every morning. Sometimes it's good just to be there.
1,5 kg Swedish turnips
2-3 carrots
2-3 potatos
Boil tender in salted water.
Mash with white pepper, salt, 1-2 teaspoons of sugar, lamb rib juice, cream, 100 g butter +/- thyme.
My friend Hailey came over, and we made pancakes. I let her do everything except break the egg. They were a little lumpier than they would have been, but still tasty. She even poured them in the pan and flipped them over!
Jinjiang, Quanzhou, Fujian, in southeast China (not to be confused with Jinjiang, Chengdu, Sichuan, in the southwest – or any other Jinjiang that might exist in China) is known more for the large number of factories operating thanks to foreign-investments – manufacturing clothing and name-brand footwear, predominantly – than for its tourist appeal.
But, Quanzhou and Jinjiang still have a lot of interesting sights.
Up an impossibly steep and bumpy dirt road of blind corners and switch-backs, there is a modest modern temple perched on a Jinjiang cliff, overlooking the factories below. Jimmy the Driver and I were invited inside to have tea. I think Jimmy and the monks are old friends.

I...did not do a great job. ;_; They looked right, but didn't quite taste how I remembered. Slightly different ingredients than what I'd get in the US probably made an impact.
I captured a pair of chickadees making a nest in this rotten tree, which was standing in the marsh water. The green color in the background is the algae from the marsh pond.
This bird is on duty pecking away at the tree, boring a hole and cavity in which to lay eggs and raise chicks. Its mate is taking a rest (last post) but soon they will switch places :)
Look carefully and you can see specks of wood on the bird's beak...
