To make this scarf I cast 200 stitches onto a US6 needle and knitted 4 ridges/8 rows of garter stitch, then k1, yo to make 400 stitches (end on k1). Stockinette stitch for 4-5 inches or so, then k1, yo to make 800 stitches (end on k1). Knit 3 ridges/6 rows of garter stitch, then bind off.
800 stitches is fairly tedious to knit.
I have only a cherry-tomato-sized ball of yarn left over from two skeins of Knitpicks Imagination.

Boston, MA: The "Make Way for Ducklings" statue in Boston Public Garden. Based on the well known children's picture book by Robert McCloskey, first published in 1941. The book is set in Boston and is also the official children's book of Massachusetts. The ducklings were sculpted by Nancy Schon and unveiled in 1987.
