An unedited webcam comparison photo. One side with make-up, the other completely make-up free. I used a very light cream foundation for the base. Finished it off with light powder and shimmer. It is actually whiter and more shimmery/glittery in person.
Btw, my left eye looks bigger than the right and that's just because of eye-liner. Skipped out on those circle lenses that make your irises look bigger. It is 12 midnight now and putting on contact lenses this late is quite uncomfortable.

Again, sorry can't help myself. Playing with new make-up feels like playing with new art materials or new photography equipment. Exciting! LOL I'll be going as the White Queen with my lil sis *orangeish as Alice, and my good old friend Faus Ontengco as The Mad Hatter. We'll be doing this next weekend for Power Plant's Alice in Wonderland Tea Party.

indiana has and assignment due tomorrow...a book report where she has to use metaphors to describe the central themes of a favourite book...we did this together in elements to describe rossamund’s plight in “monster blood tattoo”...
earned me a squeal of delight as it came off the printer, a hug and a kiss...
last night it was a science project, up till 12.30 then up at 5 am to make sure she got done what she needed...
and the boy has been ducking and weaving on a project all term...teacher rang today after i sent him to school with a note stickytaped to his head saying "REMEMBER TO ASK YOUR TEACHER ABOUT THIS ASSIGNMENT WE KNOW NOTHING ABOUT..." turns out there was a whole lotta work he was meant to be doing, but now has to condense ten weeks into one (a chip off the old block)...looks like another week of sleepless nights ahead...
and they both have lice...spent an hour after dinner with a bottle of conditioner and a fine tooth comb...griffin’s were about to gain sentience, so am glad i got in prior to the stone age coming down all heavy on his poor little head...
& indy's saxophone somehow bent itself..."i have no idea how that happened dad..." been a week in at repairs...concert in 12 hours and still no sax...looks like another day running around sydney to pick up on that...
and here i sit down at 11pm, indy tucked up in bed, to try to get done the other (my) stuff that needs doing...
but coming back to that hug i earned...wouldn't swap it for the world...
Okey the idea isn't new but some days ago a friend asked me to help him to do a make over with a budget. Was fun and I would like try the experience again! So if you wanna or know someone who wants a complete make over with a budget , don't matter the budget can be since 0l$ to 100kl$! And of course the ''before and after'' like the shopping list would be available on my blog! :D

FMS photo a day September 22nd 2013 - makes me smile - Chester makes me smile every single day. We adopted him 21 months ago, he is totally blind and had to have his left eye removed whilst in foster care, I think he is incredibly handsome. He manages so well in spite of his disability and accepts whatever life throws at him...which has been quite a lot. Everyone who meets him falls instantly in love with him, he is such a character and I am very proud to be owned by him!
Eyeshadows, Blushers, Lip Gloss and Brushes... a lovely little case of make up items, a photo for taken for stock.

2nd Day Tour in Cambodia : Angkor Wat Complex ~ Siem Reap
"Her name is Chintya, tuorist from Hongkong. She with her husband, try to take some picture together. But it seem like they didn't understand to use lighting as fill-in because that time the sun was shining bright already. And I gave tips how to photograph when against the sunlight so the foreground and the background still captured well. Then the conversation went to an idea from me to make silhouette photo like this. Then we both made Chintya as silhouette model Angkor Wat background. I think this was a great introduction and sharing."
Dia bernama Chintya, turis asal Hongkong. Dia bersama suaminya berusaha membuat beberapa foto bersama. Tapi sepertinya mereka belum mengerti menggunakan lighting sebagai fill-in karena saat itu matahari sudah bersinar terang. Dan saya memberikan beberapa tips cara memotret disaat melawan cahaya matahari agar forground dan background terlihat jelas. Lalu obrolan itu berlanjut dengan sebuah ide dari saya untuk membuat foto silhouette seperti ini. Lalu kami berdua menjadikan Chintya sebagai model silhouette dengan latar belakang Angkor Wat. Saya rasa ini adalah sebuah perkenalan dan kerjasama yang baik.

a first attempt at shooting lit candles. I am happy with how it turned out. With these kind of candles you are racing against the clock before they melt. I think this chocolate birthday cake was a success too ^_^ I will make it again for sure and post the recipe on my blog.

The pendant was made in reverence to the Orisha Oba, who is in charge of marriage, home, and hearth. She is gentle and shy, but very strong and nurturing.
This is a pretty easy project for beginners who want to make their own amulets. Vodun is a very instinctive faith, and the thought really does count the most. The Orishas value effort more than expensive materials, and are happy when you honor them (the forces of Nature) with whatever you have. So if polymer clay is what you can afford or what you are capable of working with, then use it.
We sell these for the sake of those who aren't very crafty and don't want to break their budget, but if you can, you should make your own. In fact, to start with, you should make a set of veve or symbolic pendants for all of the main Orishas, for Jesus if you were raised Christian, for Elijah if you're Jewish, and for all other Orishas or ascended persons you wish to deal with.
Just remember to make the one for Elegua (Papa Legba or Eshu) first, because he represents getting into the proper psychological and spiritual state to commune with the Nature spirits.
