So this is what became of my Make It Own Taeyang-set.
The custom and pictures are by Pullip Finland's own customizer-talent Nightmare oy, posted here with the artist's permission.
I've been admiring Nightmare's work all the time I've been on the forum and always wanted a custom doll by her. Once I saw one of her newest projects that included tattoos and scars I knew that Nightmare would produce the perfect Koujaku-custom.
This was just the most perfect pre-Christmas gift - to see pictures of him almost finished! *__* I'm so happy~! I just love him! Thank you so much, Nightmare!! <3
He'll get his facial tattoo and then he's ready and I'll get him home~ Can't wait, I'm already coming up with all kinds of cool photography ideas with my Koujack~<3
Chaos is on the horizon if Unifor and Translink do not reach an agreement by midnight tonight. Make a deal people, and keep buses running!
Skytrain would be operational, but overloaded, and a shutdown in mid-December is a scary possibility for public transit users.

Back here on the NPBL, NS typically give the belt line crews either a GP38 to use or a Dash 9 as of recent years. I always thought it was a bit silly for the belt line to use a dash 9 with they only used it for switching. So it came to my surprised when I came to Berkeley yard and saw a SD40-2 working the yard. Hey it make a lot more sense the using a dash 9 to work the yard.
I love making such little trays filled with various candies and cookies :)

Food Font is an art project where people can make alphabets out of food, take pictures of each letter, and later use these and other food alphabets to create images and other creative projects. The project supports dialogue and builds community around food, health, and sustainability.
The Food Font project allows you to download Food Font alphabets that you can use.
Goto: www.foodfont.com/download to view alphabets in other forms.
All Food Alphabets files are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. You can use the alphabet images and files but you must mention the project and where the images came from in documentation, promotion, labels, etc. You also can sell what you make if you wish.
These bright powders are natural pigments used by Indian women as "make up". That is, to paint the spot between their eyes and the red line in the middle of their hair.
Lately I've been feeling pretty depressed and part of it has to do with the fact that I have not been creating...I haven't been doing anything meaningful with my life. So I decided to create something today. Problem was, I had no clue as to what I wanted to do. I'm running pretty dry on creativity lately and it sucks.
I went to Theme of the Week which I haven't been to in FOREVER. I guess the community helped further my obsession with measuring success by numbers/votes which was super unhealthy. But since I'm incredibly low on creativity and much better about not caring how many stinking views or comments I get, I decided to give it a shot.
This week is "Drawn On" which is something very different from my usual work...but it's cool, I'm all for exploring. So I did my best with whatever I could come up with. Am I 100% pleased? No, but I think it turned out alright. The most important thing is that I created something
PS. Fun fact about this picture that I hope makes it a little more impressive. I did all of the drawings with my middle finger using nothing but the mouse pad that's built into the laptop. I got a pretty wicked middle finger ;)
And a few more pics from Williams first Birthday Party, making a wish in this one!

"t's so important to make someone happy.
Make just one someone happy.
Make just one heart to heart you, you sing to
One smile that cheers you.
One face that lights when it nears you.
One girl your - your everything to
Fame, if you win it,
Comes and goes in a minutes
Where's the real stuff in life, to cling to?
Love is the answer.
Someone to love is the answer.
Once you've found her,
Build your world around her.
Make someone happy.
Make just one someone happy.
And you will be happy too"
"Make someone happy", by Jimmy Durante

My late uncle (and mother) gave me this watch almost 10 years ago for my birthday. It is a reminder of the person he was, which was a survivor. He was told he had 6 months to live, but instead of giving up, he lived for another several years from his diagnosis. He made his time, and when I look at this watch it always reminds me doing just that.

Wish Piece by Yoko Ono (1996)
Make a wish
Write it down on a piece of paper
Fold it and tie it around a branch of a Wish Tree
Ask your friends to do the same
Keep wishing
Until the branches are covered with wishes
Yoko Ono's Wish Tree installation were Inspired by her own experience of writing wishes on pieces of paper and tying it to trees in Japan. The installation, which adapts to the local plant life, requires audience-participation in the fullest sense of the concept. Only by adding your own wishes to the tree does the installation become fully realized as looking "like white flowers blossoming from afar."
Perhaps it is the interminggling of loftier goals ("I wish people would be more aware of the environment") and the mundane ("I wish for a cold bottle of water right now.") does the tree fully represent the collective hopes of humanity.
