My thoughts are with all the unfortunate people in San Diego and Los Angeles who have lost their homes and belongings or have been evacuated. Hats off the the brave fire fighters that are now battling these ferocious fires. We drove by the start of the Santa Clarita fire Monday on our way back from Mexico. (This is a drive-by shot, hence the blurry foreground).
I'll be back visiting your streams over the weekend but must admit to getting a little carried away with my 700 photos from our trip.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is an amusement park located in Valencia, California north of Los Angeles. It opened on Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 1971 as Magic Mountain, by the Newhall Land and Farming Company. In 1979, Six Flags purchased the park and added the name Six Flags to the park's title.

The after-market shoulder harnesses suck, but after hearing from management yesterday why they have to be there and what they plan to try and do to remedy the situation... i'm very optimistic.
The harnesses have to be there because of state law, but they may try and improve them in the future.
