Ruhrnight hieß die von Uwe Schmidt organisierte Tour durch das Ruhrgebiet. Wie der Name schon andeutet waren Nachtaufahmen das Ziel und das nicht nur zur blauen Stunde, sondern auch echte Nachtaufnahmen.

View from Montcau peak in Natural Parc of Sant Llorenç de Munt i l'Obac, Catalonia. We see all the Pirineus mountains in the north of Catalonia, and also the magic mountain of Montserrat. We see also lenticular clouds.
This was a very windy and cold day, after a big storm passed through Catalonia two days ago. The first day of spring, and probably one of the coolest days of all the winter.
Since Magic Mountain was one of the distribution locations for the Covid 19 shot for those 65 and plus, I'm sure it saw more seniors today than it's seen in the 50 years since they first opened in 1971. I was there and got my shot. Yay.

Tiger and Turtle – Magic Mountain is an art installation and landmark in Angerpark [de], Duisburg, Germany, built in 2011. It is 21 meters tall, made of galvanized steel, and cost two million Euros to build. It was designed by Ulrich Genth and Heike Mutter. It resembles a roller coaster, but it is a walkway with stairs. Built over the Colorado River in 1898, this bridge was moved to Valencia, California in 1928 to replace a wooden truss bridge washed out by the Saint Francis dam collapse. The bridge carried the Southern Pacific Railroad for many decades. Now it carries water mains, pedestrians and cyclists on the Iron Horse Trail.
