I asked for a friendly cow-laboration tonight, and the world ended in a few seconds! When I regained my spirits, it was frozen everywhere. It remained the Moon, very close to the Earth, and Mars also. Some bovine survivalists, a poor Christmas LED garland, a kind of light trail at the very end. The comet of one hundred million years!

This is a 35 minute timelapse shot of Bodie Island lighthouse (taken from 10:35 to 11:10 PM on 7/7/13). The 11mm lens distorts the image, but it adds an eerie vertigo effect.

Revelado

A quiet cold night in the New Mexico wilderness is a experience that is one of a kind. So much to see and explore.

This is a image stack of about 700 images taken on the night of December 27. The clear sky made the image perfect but as the temperature started to drop the edges of the gear tolerances were hit.

A great night and a wonderful image to share. I hope you enjoy this image as much as I do the adventure.

The Eyeskraper Space Station was to be the 1st mission to the outer universe. The mission failed though. After 2 light years away there was an unseen gravity pull. This was from the galaxy tripon. The gravity pull sent the Space station on a collision course to a black hole, were it stopped sending back a signal in Jan 7 3007.

I apologise for misleading. It doesn't look nothing in comparison to this image when you are there , So don't take it as if your going to see this.. SPECTRA lights up Aberdeen city centre. Remember not to wait more than 5 mins as it does not get any better. Just a repeat that goes round and round..

#SPECTRA , #Aberdeen — at Spectra Festival.

After spme ordinary weather, it was a fabulous clear night.

I avoided the Magic Lantern April Fool's prank long enough to shoot a short series. There's some significant lens flare, but that's how it is with the fisheye.

5 Bracketed exposures HDR shot using Magic Lantern and processed and edited on Photomatix Pro & Adobe Photoshop CS5.

I was very fortunate to have a guy on his BMX bike come in to shot in the centre of the tunnel. Straight away I pressed that shutter to try caputre his shadow in the tunnel.

Today's effort with J. Lane Dry Plates, in 8X10. I shot this at about 0.5 ASA, and processed in BER49 (because its what I had) for 7 minutes, and got a very nice negative.

Camera: Intrepid 8X10 fitted with an old brass Darlot magic lantern lens of some sort. No idea what the F value was (I guessed it around f11). In all, I am very pleased with the result. This Darlot lens actually works very well with dry (and wet) plates.

Trying out Magic lantern with mirror lock.. I set it to 3 second delay. The delay between the mirror up and shutter can be set at what ever you like. Auto brackets 2 stops apart. Then when i press the shutter to start the shots. The mirror flips up and waits 3 seconds before the shutter moves. It then repeats for each bracketed shot automatically. This will come in very handy when doing longer exposures.......... 3 stitch across at 24mm, end up with 15mm

Currently I'm suffering from a leg injury, diagnosed as Compartment Syndrome. The injury have forced me back to my long gone passion in photography. Hopefully I can start running end of this month.

Feel free to leave your comment and hopefully you like it.

Shot with the aid of Magic Lantern v1.2.3

9 shot bracketing + ISO bracketing on cam ( fixed distortion on left side buildings, sky color banding & high pass sharpening )

It's been a few years since I shot this 102-year old icon. I've recently upgraded my Canon 70D firmware and decided to install the latest version of Magic Lantern to try out its Dual ISO feature again. It was about an hour after sunset when I took this shot using the Dual-ISO 100/400 setting @ 20 seconds - I like the outcome : skies are noticeably much bluer and I was able to capture some stars as well (had it been taken with a regular ISO 100 mode the skies would've been pitch black) - although I had to lighten up the shadow and dark areas a bit. The only downside of Dual-ISO is that it does render the image a little softer, so I had to do a little sharpening. Thank you guys for your visits.
