my friend is leaving the country (she's moving to london for bigger and better things). to send her off right i thought i should make some cupcakes. these were a pretty big hit. i decided to make these in honor of the monochromatic aesthetic of my workplace.

Fresh fruit goes quickly. I love buying it in bulk because it is so much cheaper. This also means that it goes bad faster than we can eat it. So I've resolved to canning and preserving fruit. this was my first attempt at strawberry preserves and blueberry/strawberry jam. I was quite pleased. I tested the jam on a fresh peanutbutter and jam sandwhich. It was amazing!
