I Did! I Did Taw A Puddy Tat -
I didn’t pay attention to the copper pod pitching on the downside of a perennial, until the folded carpel reeled out into a familiar figure. It was a very different mantis, a nymph that is extremely quick on his feet. His grasping forelimbs were round and his ability to rubber band his tummy over the head made him funny. I inched closer to scrutinize and he began to pace non-stop around the sprig. “Take this you bad ol' putty tat!” I was confused and taken back for a moment when he clubbed a swing at me. It suddenly dawn on me, this feisty cutie in front is no sweet Tweety.
Taking this I realized how slow I am and how fast does insects are 😜 this is shoot with a freehand so when I got the focus right he decided to hide half face...typical 😂
A Nightclub Homicide By Lethal Injection -
A spider was stalking under the foliage and got his trophy but I bawled him out when I saw what he had seized. The lifeless prey in his clutches look like my beloved sequined spider, the one who go to great lengths gumming mirror shards on her abdomen. If I arrived a minute earlier I’ll call out to her, maybe she can survive by gnawing one of her own legs off. Did she lost her life to a lady-killer because she was too attention seeking? Would I feel better if a blood-sucking mosquito is ensnared in her place? For her killer she’s just another body to be tossed away but for me, there’ll no more dancing because my disco ball spin and shine no more.
Molass-Glazed Nut Fudge Indulgence (Dorsal View) -
The hardest part in the jungle is not withstanding the heat, but juggling the camera with one hand and fending off mozzies with the other. My sacrifice pays off at last when the thickets divulged a gem the size of a pecan. I calmed down and decipher the strange morsel through my lens. Aha, I see crunchy walnuts and milk chocolate melded into one with a chunk of vanilla at the sides. Bird dung spiders must be the tastiest arachnids in the world. One bite and the melting cacao take me on a fantastic ride to paradise. I adore the nutty appearance of this poop mimic, every minute with him is so sweet.
Chanel Logo -
The dorsal view with an imprint on his head - to my shopaholic friends, that would appeared as a luxury symbol. If you tap the power switch on Murphy's head lightly, I guarantee he'll spread his wings automatically for you to see. I’m kidding, it’s best to let sleeping dogs’ moths lie, otherwise they fly away and you see them no more.
Scrubbing The Foliage In His Own Way -
Every insect has their function in the jungle, whatever role they play I love them for who they are. Along a row of foliage, a short-sighted fly pacing on a leaf caught my eyes. The blue mosaic made him outstanding and his action reminds me of a robot vacuum performing an odious chore. Nature certainly has an excellent team of cleaners, the wind is a strong broom that sweeps away the debris and fine sanitizing task is taken over by critters. Instead of using a floor mop, this fly shows great humility sponging with his mouth.

A day in Clumber Park, what a great place for macro, I met a massive hornet for the first time and while I tried to dare and get close to take a few pic's, his friend another massive hornet sneaked into my coat, lucky I was able to scream loud enough to scare him away. ;))))

Dozing off in style this #DaddyLongLeg #spider was the just-right subject for #macrophotography sans costly #macro #lens in Tungareshwar #wildlife reserve.
Gifted with long slender legs and a lean body, they violently shake the web when disturbed to blur the vision of predator.
The Count Of The Carpathian Mountains -
Brown, black, yellow is the norm color for assassin bugs so I was thrilled to catch one in fire engine red. The rousing dye pulled me towards him but I remind myself to keep a distance from his sickle fang. While I understand his urgent cravings for involuntary donators, I’m not ready to offer him my neck. The wind gave a lift and he took flight with bat wings. I shouted after him, “Why are you in such a hurry to go? Won’t you stay and let me admire you some more? He answered in haste, “To the hospital blood unit, my color is fading and I need to withdraw a pint for this evening. Blood Moon rising tonight, you ought to paint your lips a blazing red too.”
A Jolly Capsid -
In a failed effort to escape from my photographic pursuit, this miridae lands on a misshapen leaf. Look at the stained art patterns on his glass wings. Can’t you see the greenish abdomen beneath? This elongated terrestrial insect feeds on juicy plant tissues. The gardener complains about the damage on their ornamental plants, I don’t. I’m a bug tracker, so I compliment on the aesthetic quality of the capsid bug instead.
Obnoxious Night Crawler -
At least triple in size than domestic roaches, this robust looking brunette was spotted snoozing on low foliage. Clad in auburn raiment, she blends well on leaf litter and camouflage in tree hollows. Bat poo, fruits, seeds, dead insets, rotting wood, the menu options in the forest is huge and varied; no wonder she grows to such monstrous size.
Just ask around. It's a known fact that they do. And this fly is happy to demonstrate just how hairy a fly tongue can get if you drink lots of strong coffee.
Drunken Stupor -
One adventurous butterfly arrived at a puddling scene and another joined in the wet soil. High on amino acids and salt, the pair is not conscious of danger approaching. Until my shadow was cast entirely over, they realized and flee. Abandoning their sweet spot for a while, they returned as soon as I leave.

Let The Magic Begin -
Perhaps he likes my presence and was emotionally charged. Suddenly he clapped his wings and sprinkled his fairy dust all over me. I’m enchanted; the immediate shift from colourless wings to incandescent purplish was electric. My forest fairy flew off eventually and my eyes gave chase because he took my breath away.

Wanderlust -
Incy wincy left his web temporarily to have a taste of freedom and hammocked on low vegetation. I’m struck by his tapering latitudes across his sun kissed tummy, they look pretty. How good it is to roam the world and not need anyone’s approval to be happy. If a spider is tired of his midair stance, he can fall anytime on land and watch busy ants go by. Envision sleeping under the stars and rising with the sun, kissing shy mimosas good morning. I quickly jump to conclusions, a spider’s life is stress-free and better than mine.
