Dandelions. Very common weed that adorns urban areas, gardens, fields and just about anywhere. Whatever you think of it, its various stages of transition are magical from a photographic perspective.
Dandelions may be considered a nuisance in parts of the garden, especially in weed-free lawns but have many herbal uses and are a good early source of nectar and pollen for insects so worth tolerating where possible.
Taraxacum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Asteraceae, which consists of species commonly known as Dandelions.

Seen this little fella at Attenborough Nature Reserve here in Nottinghamshire. He was happy to sit and pose for a few minutes.
The centre and the reserve is named after naturalist and broadcaster Sir David Attenborough.

Don't ask me how long I've had these little things in the fridge. It's probably 2 or 3 years. We don't usually enjoy garlic, however for a while I was subscribing to a meal kit delivery service and they included garlic in the kits. I ended up with quite a bit of it, however these few are the last ones left - I wonder if I ever will use them?
Macro photography of red and pink flowers, with very shallow depth of field and beautiful soft warm light.
An ultra-detailed macro photograph of a tiny emerald tree frog resting on a dew-covered leaf. The glistening water droplets, vivid green colors, and mesmerizing golden eyes reveal the incredible beauty of the miniature rainforest world.
Seen at Oldmoor Wood. It's a woodland in Nottinghamshire, near the village of Strelley. It covers a total area of 15.11 hectares. It is owned and managed by The Woodland Trust.

All my own work - coloured inks on genuine watercolour paper, using a little fan brush.
I've done a lot of this art, using coloured inks, with great results (which are hanging on our walls) so it's been fun to do this special little tiny delight.

These Allium Siculums are beginning to unfurl in my garden. They need a thin garden cane to help support them at this stage.
Nectaroscordum (Allium).
Alliums are part of the onion family. They bloom with bell-shaped flowers offering reddish-purple markings as you can see. Known as the Honey Garlic, Sicilian Honey Lily, Sicilian Honey Garlic, or Mediterranean Bells, is a European and Turkish species of plants genus Allium. It is native to the regions around the Mediterranean and Black Seas, and grown in other regions as an ornamental and as a culinary herb.
