What better way to spend Easter than at the Butterfly exhibit at the San Diego Wild animal Park. It was wonderful.

I'd been at my Mum's in the garden last week and was trying to photograph a daffodil, when I noticed something at my elbow.... this beautiful little Orange Tip butterfly was so hungry that it didn't even see my camera stuck in it's face lol

Aren't their eyes incredibly strange? What an amazing world we live in... how can anyone believe everything we see around us was formed by accident. My creator and my belief is in God my Saviour.

Have a blessed Sunday everyone :)

"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower."

Close up shot of a butterfly

Smallest butterfly in the Philippines. Can be found flying low among the grasses or feeding on flowers of small plants like this one.

Very similar to the Monarch and Queens, but are distinguish for the black band across the hind-wings. They fly from Spring to Summer through watercourses, meadows and wetlands. Two or more generations a during the year. The wings are in great condition, considering that this photo was taken at the end of Summer.

My photography is mostly nature. I enjoy macro photography a lot, but it is difficult to decide what a I like the most about this art.
