bee enjoying the last of the flowers i think, they are starting to look a bit worse for wear, you can actually see my reflection on his back as i was taking his photo. planted loads of pollinators this year, the bees are loving them.

A lovely Honeybee flying towards a flower. This is my favourite bee shot yet. Absolutely delighted when I saw this on the back of the camera 😊👌

While out golfing with my husband, I noticed this bee on the path, I grabbed my phone, hoping it would stay put, and captured a few images! So beautifully still and calm.

We've seen so few bees in our garden this summer. It was lovely to capture this one , on one of it's last visits of the day , judging by the sprinkling of pollen on its wings.

I'm still learning to get the hang of a Canon 100mm macro lens and the shallow DOF it has. If anyone has any handy tips for taking photographs of insects with this lens, I'm open for advice :)
The camera was a Canon 400D and the lens was a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro.
