I decided to try one of these with the splash on top of the water surface and the flow of the cream underneath. In order to get the cream under the surface I had to use a longer exposure and a manual flash to get the delay in the flow.
Exposure 1.3 seconds
Aperture f20 ... ISO 100
One flash over the drop and the manual one in front and to the right, both at 1/32
Love the oddball stuff .In this one, the second drop hit on the side of the first, giving it this unusual effect.
I'm trying to learn a few new programs and it's giving me a headache.:-)
Please, no multi invites to groups with large or moving icons.
Didn't have enough droppers or room for all the colors.
Droppers taped to a flat stick and squeezed with a wide clip.
Photo of milk splashing into red food coloring. The stopping action was achieved using flash set at Max Sync Speed. For detailed information on the setup, see the description in the similar red, white, and blue splash photo (close to this one in the photostream).
Made out of a can and painted in bright colors. This little piece of art decorates a back garden at the Schluchsee. The Black Forrest is filled with wonders. Be it natural or manmade... It does not matter wich one it is. Because after all, beauty, aswell as wonder, is in the eyes of the beholder. And behold... i have eyes and i see wonder. Even a painted sunflower made out of a can, can make my day. I hope it does the same for you. ;-)

... And I'm so sorry for not posting anything for such a long time. The last year was pretty exhausting for me. Illness, studying, work and so on.

I was testing a black and white background for these and only filled up the glass half full with water so I wouldn't get too much mess while I was lining everything up. I decided I really liked the effects of this so I stayed with it.
Sometimes the first shot of cream into the water is a bit blown out, but I was able to fix this one.
I thought it kind of cute that Google translated a word as "raindrops". Well, here they are.
