a week. When we first saw him, he was missing his left front legs. As

you can see, he's growing them back. That, my friends, is creepy!

Spider from the back yard. Taken when I had the borrowed DSLR and super huge macro lens.

We're getting close to Halloween, so why not post a macro of a spider! My wife found this one in the house, while she was packing.

 

My wife was the one packing, of course. Wish we could teach the spiders to help!

This fella has been guarding my stairway the past several days. I need to be careful that I don't accidentally step on him. He did get a bit excited when I shined a bright light on him to take his photo, but has since calmed down.

 

This is the best spider photo I've taken yet, but Thomas Shahan has no competition from me. ;-) His spider macros are absolutely splendid!

I have no idea what this guy was. He was small around 3mm and a web spinner in gorse bushes.
