Since I'm apparently in a macro mood... a woolly bear caterpillar - the larval stage of the Isabella tiger moth. Legend holds that the more black they have the more severe or long winter will be. In truth, the orange band actually changes (grows) as the caterpillar gets older and varies from one to the next even among hatch-mates. There's a Woolybear festival in Vermilion Ohio just up the (turn)pike every year in October. These guys do overwinter/hibernate after adding an anti-freeze agent to their blood.
This guy was crawling along the bike path right by the lodge at Oak Openings. I moved him to the grass so he wouldn't get squished.
It was kind of a hard shot since it was such a high contrast situation - It worked out OK - I'd like a little more detail and a little less hard shadow but, I thought the DOF was pretty cool. I was trying to decide how close to crop - maybe I should have left it wider.

I was looking around for something to take a photo whilst I was in a macro mood and I saw this flower. The lighting was not very good as usual but I used my flash. I never usually do but i did. First I tried it without water as seen in the picture below. However, I thought i would try it with water. I used my mom's water hair spray thing and sprayed the rose. This gave it fine water droplets. Thanks for looking.
Feb 24 It was such a beautiful day today. I went to my favourite pub for lunch. This is some plant life in the outside dining area. I've been in a macro mood lately :-)

W miniony łykend w Krakowie odbył się 10 Zlot MotoLegendy PRL.
Jednym z najpiękniejszych zabytkowych aut które przyjechały na Zlot był czechosłowacki krążownik szos, niedoścignione marzenie w czasach PRL-u czyli Tatra 603.
Ten luksusowy i piękny samochód z V8 pod maską był produkowany w latach 1956-1975.
Prawda, że ten ponadczasowy design Tatry zachwyca do dzisiaj? ;-)
