The leaves of the Loropetalum are less than an inch in length but have a wide range of color and texture. Sharing a play of light and color for your Monday. Have a great day!
After a short pause, I find my courage and allow my mind to venture further within this vision like some drunken bee. Or am I floating about like a ghost? A whisper on the breeze catches my ear. A voice? Focusing on the ledge of a single petal, I find an anchor. I must catch my bearings. Why is my vision fogged? For some odd reason, the smell is becoming a bit more pleasant. My stomach is no longer hurling in knots. Ahead of me, the warm glow feels quite inviting. From out of the light, loom long giant arms. As I peer closer they appear to beckon me forward? The effect of the breeze or something else? "Come to me..." Now, I am hearing voices. It must have been the wind. I must move forward.
Continuing the adventure into nature. I will be catching up this weekend and look forward to being back. Happy Friday my Flickr friends!
Two souls, one moon, flowing along cold slow waters.
Together, another late night, passing the time between two kindred spirits.
Reflecting on the river of life, crying with jolly laughter.
Reveling into the unknown, singing only joyous lyrics.
All it takes is a leaf to float away... It is great to be back for 2017. Getting back to my macro/light painting experiment. Enjoying some moonlight madness and wishing all of my Flickr friends a happy New Year! Continuing our travels together in the "The Eternal Journey" series.

From within the cold darkness of our inner reality,
we always have a choice to receive a simple gesture.
A gesture that emerges from across the void and crashes into our time locked souls.
Threads ravel away, revealing the eternal light within like some strange magic.
A light of hope for that special place inside.
That place we call, the heart.
These strange, yet beautiful New Zealand Tea Roses endure all seasons as does those special places we keep within our hearts. A single macro exposure with some blue light painting, water and a touch of texture. Traveling together in a new short series "The Eternal Journey."

One of the few white Anemones from my garden catching the small amount of light there is from under the hedge,
As rain falls silent,
her heart peers upward for hope -
just breath and let go.
Finding renewal and a new hope. Looking forward to begin once more. I have been enjoying mother nature and her many rainy days this Summer while sailing through troubled waters and mapping endless contemplations. However, the journey must go on and I look forward to catching up on the journeys of all of my Flickr friends!

Going back to Spring, where the Gardenias first bloomed and the rain provided a nice dreamy fog. What is it about nature and poetry that seem to go hand in hand? Starting a short series, "Two Poetic Friends."

A beautiful damselfly in the early hours ... such a delicate insect deserves a macro picture. The damselflies come into action as soon as the sun warms them. Meanwhile, they rest quietly in the greenery, waiting for the first rays of sunlight. Love them
