Because they are "Bloomin'" now ;>) They literally fill the air with their "sweet fragrance", and between that and the "honeysuckle" Tennessee smells mighty sweet right now.

Anyone who does not regularly view Sweet Snookies photosite must really see what an absolute artist she is!

Her current altered Art has to be seen to be believed!

Happy Earth Day! Have a happy and blessed day, my friends:) Hope you have a miraculous day!! Thanks for your visit.

This was taken this morning, in my garden, with a flash.

After so many months i cleaned up my Macro lens and nearly 4hrs Marathon Macro photo shoot i did it today. my next few uploads you can see the BIG world!!

Seen in Boissy-Saint-Léger, near Paris, France.

As far as orchid shops go, in Paris, I recommend "Marcel Lecoufle", actually in Boissy-Saint-Léger, an extraordinary and reputed orchid grower. They specialize in small-flower and scented orchids.

This is a "natural" photograph. No editing, no color enhancing.

I can only apologise for my continued self indulgence of macro-mania.

I took this yesterday in Ottavia's garden. It is one of her many potted plants. This is sent to brighten your Sunday!! Thanks so much for visiting, stay blessed:)

please VIEW IN LARGE to see the buggy.

Macro mania continues and proudly presents the first “real” sighting of a fallen angel. *G*

For this time i captured the blossom of an orchid and transformed it into b/w. No other effects used here. ;o)

I've been meaning to buy a peice of black plexiglas to get some reflection shots of macro subjects. It's just not the same using normal glass and a black cloth underneath as you get a double reflection from both surfaces of hte glass. I took the black cloth out for this and made it an extreme macro instead.

The surface tension of the water drop with the tips of the pencil leads in gives an interesting effect. You can also see the reflection of the MR14-EX ring flash in the water drop too. One other thing you can notice is the change in colour and bulge of the right two leads where they have absorbed water.
