[Macro-mania: I must admit to having succumbed to the desire to engage in this activity though, in truth, I never thought I would. I reckon it's the time of year -- the season of rebirth -- which demands attention to the "smaller" realms of nature moreso than any other. One tends to look down more than up...to remarkable discoveries and effect.]

here is some more experimentation with my macro lens.
Picture below shows the diffrence between macro lens and point and shoot camera (olympus) . It was taken from the same exact spot as macro above. I am not sure if you are able to see the little guys on the picture below, but they are right in the middle (can't add a note).
For all of you who already have macro lens this is nothing exciting.. LOL since I have it for short time - there is a lof of macro joy for me!
to jest kontunacja mojej nauki z obiektywnem makro. Zdjecie ponizej jest zdjeciem zrobionym z tego samego miejsca, co makro tylko "zwykla" kamera i pokazuje roznice pomiedzy obiektywem makro, a "zwyklym" aparatem. Nie jestem pewna, czy zobaczysz gdzie faktycznie te male kwiatki sie znajduja na ponizszym zdjeciu - sa wlasciwie w samym srodku zdjecia (niestety nie moge dodac "note"). Wszyscy Ci, ktorzy juz posiadaja obiektyw makro przejda do "porzadku" dziennego :-) z tym zdjeciem. Ja mam obiietyw makro od niedawna - w zwiazku z tym bawi mnie odkrywanie tego swiata

Actually, I am amazed at how only two flowers from my Azalea have given me so many photos!!!
Són petites, quasi minúscules, però poc a poc s'obre al món mostrant tenir tot els element d'una de les germanes més grans.
A mi, ja ho heu notat, m'ha robat el car i fa temps.
Cada cop, cada instant que passo pels raconet on estan me les haig de mirar i si porto la càmera les haig de fotografiar.
L'altre vaig anar a un xerrada sobre fotografia i art, o millor seria dir l'art de la fotografia. Em va animar ja sempre havia cregut que a part de fer bones fotos, de tenir molt bona tècnica i no diem que "gran" i cara càmera era més important tenir gust, sensibilitat, sentiments, emocions i saber-ho expressar. Per sort em va confirmar que així era.
Hi ha gent que diuen que m'expresso d'aquesta manera perquè no en sé més, segur que tenen molta raó, no puc anar a buscar gran sortides de sol, no puc endinsar-me en paratges paradisíacs, ni tenir models per a fotografiar ... tinc flors naturals que mai m'ha dit no em retratis, ans el contrari, m'han dit fes-ho i emocionat i emociona. Això és el que m'agrada fer, això és la meva intenció. No vull ser el millor, només vull expressar allò que tinc a l'ànima

I tried out the macro lens today, trying to get some shots of the dogs. Turns out the lens has a quite good autofocus! I´m so happy! :-) Jack is not so happy about the attention he gets from Nova, though...

This is some detail from an extremely old pier on Bradenton Beach .... believe I might just have caught each letter!!

First blooms of these just opened this week. I new you would all want to see them. Rather fascinating flower really. They are Wildflowers that my wife swt snookie found 10 years or so ago at a plant/garage sale that have now naturalized in several areas of our yard! This patch of them is just below the Old Fish/Youngsters pond where Neelix has retired !
