Day at the Conservatory, Como Park, St Paul, Minnesota

Moon Over Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco, California

I tried out the macro lens today, trying to get some shots of the dogs. Turns out the lens has a quite good autofocus! I´m so happy! :-) Jack is not so happy about the attention he gets from Nova, though...

We had some rain again. Not much, but enough to make the flowers and trees go "awwwwwwww"!!!!!!!!

Our Daily Challenge 12-18 November : ODC Macro Mania

A pine cone, one of many under the trees in my road

Not truly a macro, as that means that the image on what used to be the film is the same size or larger than the actual object, but never mind!

Day 30/365

Week 5 Theme: Macro Mania.

Note to self - cats do not make ideal companions when trying to shoot macro...they have a habit of head-butting the tripod.

Better viewed larger :)

A rose bud from on high. Does it seems a planet, doesn't it? :)

Thank you for your replies to my question about Dslr. They've been very appreciated and useful. For the moment I'm playing with my Lumix in full manual mode :)

Have a great day, wherever you are

(looks like I somehow managed to get a lens flare or *something* in this shot, thats annoying)

This is some detail from an extremely old pier on Bradenton Beach .... believe I might just have caught each letter!!

Presently, on vacation and way behind with commenting etc will attempt to catch up ASAP!!

Our Daily Challenge ~ Old Macro Mania ....

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... thanks to you all.

First blooms of these just opened this week. I new you would all want to see them. Rather fascinating flower really. They are Wildflowers that my wife swt snookie found 10 years or so ago at a plant/garage sale that have now naturalized in several areas of our yard! This patch of them is just below the Old Fish/Youngsters pond where Neelix has retired !

Another version of Els Josepets, inspired by Raquel Méndez, who was mistaken when giving an invitation to the group Macromanía to my previous photo of this convent.

CASTELLANO
