The Mac Pro on the left is a 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon. The Mac Pro on the right is a 2 x 2.4 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon with a 512GB Apple SSD, making it the most powerful in our studios when the picture was taken. Core and Accel cards for Pro Tools HD have been switched into the new one. They're a tight fit.
The logic board finished in matt black on the new one is rather swish, though I have no idea what 'BIG FRANK' and 'LITTLE FRANK' do; but they're labelled.
My desk. Hello Mac Pro "Nehalem". The Appenzeller slate-top table was made by Sacha's cousin as his final project in cabinetry/joinery school.

* 2x SATA to 4-pin Molex adapters (Example)
* 2x 4-pin Molex male to female extension cables (35cm shown here) (Example)
* 1x dual 4-pin molex to 6-pin PCI-express power convertor (example)
Also, some wire clippers or a knife, and some gaffer's or duct tape
Got a good deal on an early version Mac Pro with an Apple Cinema Display. I've always wanted this setup. Now the future is to upgrade to 30"!
