This one was a long wait to receive, at a time I forgot I have ordered one.
Not that I think a needed an iPurifier, but since I brought my iFi system for my mac pro was in a search for an USB Type A better quality plug for my gemini to connect my iDSD, the iFi supplied one was since day one something I always felt the need to upgrade.
To be sincere I did not listened to it, the quality of the iPurifier 2 construction is amazing.
I will when I have some time have a listen to it with my Focal Solo 6BE.

The ifi cables are a no brainer for me, needed a 1,5m cable, and ifi Gemini is my favorite.
Vovox Textura for the speakers made a real overall improvement in the soundstage and details, at first I was only to try them, but they are expensive, so I opted to not buy them, after connecting the supplied cables again, it was a problem, I felt loss of information and detail and focus… So Vovox textura stayed.
At the moment ifi iUSB3 is in the system, the sound feels more natural than ifi iUSB, but is in the system only for a a day and I did not had a calm listen or attention to the new iUSB, impression is that the sound has a more natural presentation, for now I could be mistaken, as I changed the cables also.
When I go back to my original iUSB I will post some impressions, if is a step up from the original, it will stay, if not, it will go.

I want to be a MacPro.
So work had this iMac G4 in a pile of stuff scheduled to be destroyed. No one was sure if it worked or where it had come from. Someone said "A storage closet we think." So I asked if I could have it instead of it being wrecked if it worked.
The power plug was there so I fired it up and it had a locked install of 10.4.10 on it. A little terminal work later and I was in. What a find too.

Whoever owned this before wasn't playing around when they bought it and totally topped it out. It's a slick little device, I'm getting Leopard 10.5.6 to throw on it now so some more current software will work on it. Can't believe they were going to scrap the little guy.
This is probably the most accessed drawer in the room. Batteries, mice for the trackpad-impaired visitors, camera, mp3 player(s), adaptors, etc. have all found their place in there.

iFi audio gear is interesting, products have a good price, and are sensible to show the differences with each upgrade.
Brought the iUSB 3.0, globally was an sensation of bigger natural sensation overall, but that´s a personal opinion, do not take that for granted, because depends on your system.
But something stroked my mind, the iTube power supply is not bad, but poor compared to the iFi iUSB power supply, so I asked to try one of the iFi new iPower products on the iFi iTube…
If you have an iFi iTube, do not take my words, go and try one, the difference is big, really big, at least in my system, a lot more clear, in all areas, and it’s only a power supply, but for 50 euros, is the best 50 euros I have spent lately.

My work area is starting to take shape. I'll regain an entire desktop once I transfer all the data over from my home built dual Athlon.
This Asus router is a good one, the first of is kind.
Works best with AsusWRT Merlin firmware for Asus Routers.
Great developer by the way.
I did not test it fully, but it´s very stable, and has a lot of control on what is appening on yout network, but Asus Routers are allways a safe buy, and apple routers do not work with my fiber optics net provider.
Apple needs to implement new protocols their routers…

Not bad… Connection is great.
Sound is low in volume and quality of the sound is nothing that impresses me, and not worth the price of 200 euros, there are a lot cheaper better sound alternatives, but these will stay in use.
My B&W C5 have a lot better sound quality and they are 50 euros less, but not wireless.
Will wait to see the apple new earbuds when they become available.
UPDATE: Playing with some rubber tips, the sound is not bad with the right rubber tips the sound is more proeminent on the bass, reception distance is very good.
