There's little merit in these four shots but I'm uploading them to illustrate how low they come through the loop. I took these from near the top of Cad West.
As usual these days, there is very little action through the Mach Loop, disappointing!

Another early start and long drive out, heading for something slightly different to the norm on this occasion.
Destination: Cad West/Mach Loop.
We arrived early and thankfully there were plenty of spaces in the carpark when we arrived.
After climbing up an unexpectedly steep hillside carrying enough equipment to make your knees buckle, we arrived with what seemed like only minutes to spare, before someone shouted incoming and all hell broke loose.
Have to say this was a pretty epic day. In fact, I believe I chose this as my favourite from the many locations we visited over a two week period.
Fantastic day, blisteringly hot at times, great company and although the action was a tad slow on this particular day, we did at least manage to get some shots.
Actually can't wait for a return visit.
Up , close and personal with the crew of "HOSS31" on their first pass in the Mach Loop on Wednesday 5th Feb 25.
