The Sand Blasting Machine is the machine used to clean mechanical service using silicon sand which works under high pressure. This machine is commonly used to clean paint, rust, and some other kind of contaminants effectively from the metallic surface. It is essentially applied in the industries of ships, infrastructure & other vehicles.
Working of Sand blasting machine
This process principally helps to prevent damage and provide perfection before the material is coated with a protective layer and for that this process becomes essential in all metallic structures before it undertakes to coat. There are various methods of abrasive cleaning but Sand Blasting is the strongest method among them for cleaning metal surfaces.

Edward Anderson Herizoni 36 years old is a father of five children residing in Iduo village, Kongwa district. His journey is one of resilience and transformation, shaped significantly by his involvement with the Tanzania Social Action Fund (TASAF).
Early Life and Struggles
Before joining TASAF, Edward's life was marked by struggle and hard work. He worked part-time on other people's farms to support his family. In 2010, he managed to build a six-room house with a steel roof, providing a modest shelter for his family.
Joining TASAF
In 2014, Edward's life took a positive turn when he joined TASAF. His first grant of 34,000 Tanzanian shillings allowed him to rent two acres of land. With this land, Edward planted sunflowers and successfully harvested ten sacks. From there, he produced ten tanks of sunflower oil, each holding 20 liters, and sold each tank for 50,000 Tanzanian shillings, earning a total of 500,000 Tanzanian shillings.
Investing in His Future
Edward used 300,000 Tanzanian shillings from his earnings to purchase 20 steel roofs, with the remaining 200,000 Tanzanian shillings going towards other construction materials such as sand blocks and paying technicians. This investment enabled him to begin building a new house on a plot inherited from his father.
Continued Success in Farming
Edward's agricultural ventures did not stop with sunflowers. He also farmed millet, harvesting ten sacks, with each sack selling for 70,000 Tanzanian shillings. He sold seven sacks, reserving the remaining three for his family's food. The proceeds, totaling 500,000 Tanzanian shillings, allowed him to buy a five-acre piece of land, further expanding his farming operations.
Supporting His Family
Recognizing his wife's passion for sewing, Edward saved 250,000 Tanzanian shillings to purchase a sewing machine. This machine became a crucial asset, helping to support their household expenses through his wife's sewing business.
Investing in Education
Edward’s involvement with TASAF also ensured that his children had the necessary school uniforms and other essential materials, enabling them to attend school regularly.
Conclusion
Edward Anderson Herizoni’s story is a testament to the power of support and determination. From working part-time on farms to becoming a successful farmer and entrepreneur, Edward’s journey illustrates how strategic investments and community support can transform lives. His dedication not only improved his family's living conditions but also provided educational opportunities for his children, setting a foundation for future success.

I decided to bore out the big ends on the lathe instead of using the milling machine, this enabled me to check and alter the Gudgeon pin's postion so it was dead parallel to the lathe bed, it also meant that the con-rod would be held vertically so I could lightly clamp the con-rod to make sure that the action of clamping it down does not move the con-rod out of alignment. This accuracy is so important as I am boring the big end to the crank's journal size + 0.002" for oil clearance - mounting it like this ensures that the big and little end's of the con-rod are perfectly aligned.

HARVESTING BARLEY WITH TRACTOR
We hear much these days about “increased production.” By this is meant that more of everything should be grown or manufactured. And this should be done with as little use of man-power as possible.
This view could well be called "Two Men Doing the Work of Thirty Men and Twenty Horses.” For here you see two men taking care of labor that thirty men usually do with many teams. Their machine cuts the barley, and does away with binding it and setting the sheaves in shocks by threshing out the grain at once. The threshing alone regularly requires a score of men and a dozen horses at least. How can two men do so much?
The man nearer to you is taking care of the power that runs the machine. This power is a gasoline tractor. It is built low and heavy so that its barred wheels have no trouble clinging to the ground. Pulling the cutter and thresher behind it is child's play for a tractor like this.
The second man oversees the other half of the machine, which works in this way. The upper part of the standing grain is driven against a sharp sickle by the revolving reel that you see to the left. The heads of grain fall on a moving canvas that carries the barley up into the thresher. There the grains are quickly beaten from the heads by heavy iron teeth. The chaff and straw are blown out behind, while the grain falls down into sacks where it is weighed, tied, and dropped on a platform.
Such a machine can be used only in a dry climate. Why? Is there anything in the view to suggest that this farming country is high?

A spoil board is sacrificial material that’s used underneath the material you want to cut on a CNC machine. This ensures a better through cut and is usually MDF. I’ve noticed that when the spoil boards are all used up at ITP, some really amazing patterns are formed.

Our Maker Art class created a Time Machine this year, inviting you to travel through time from the age of dinosaurs to the 50th century.
Our 4th and 5th graders at the Lycée Français designed their own scenes from the past, present or future, and brought them to life with motion, lights and sounds. They also worked in teams to build interactive features like illuminated keypads, spinners and doors, using the popular Arduino platform.
In our after-school classes, we combine art, technology and storytelling to help children create their own magical worlds. They learn to design their ideas, build them with a variety of tools, animate them with electronics and tell their stories. This unique multimedia course helps them develop their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills -- and builds their confidence that they can help change the world.
This year, we had a really good group of 9 students, ages 8 to 11 -- many of whom had taken our Maker Art classes before. They were very creative and engaged, and did a great job presenting their work at the Lycée Français -- and at Marinovators at the College of Marin on April 22.
This Maker Art class was taught by Fabrice Florin and Edward Janne at the Lycée Français in Sausalito in winter 2017. We met every week for 12 workshops of 90 minutes each, Thursdays at 3:30pm, from January 5 to March 30, 2017. Our teachers are part of the Tam Makers learning community and we prepared materials for this project in our state-of-the-art makerspace at the nearby Tam High School.

So I designed these adjustable pin cushions for sewers who can't stand the plastic ones sold in stores. Also if you're like me and don't have room around your machine this will help.
Oh yeah and if you don't sew these are still cool to rock out on your wrist!
The band that goes around your wrist has velcro to adjust. It's made out of vinyl and felt. In the middle is another strip of velcro for your penguin so if you want to take it off and place it near your machine or project. The vinyl is red and the backing felt is white.
So speaking of the little guy it's made out of gray and white felt and stuffed. I've also sewn on a pretty blue sequin eye and a yellow beak.
Along with your new hip wrist pin cushion I've poked it w/ four yellow pins.
The measurements of the band is 9 1/2 inches in length by 3 inches wide. They are very soft and comfortable
We started Sixty-Four Colors too late to need to find something silver, but if I had a time machine, this is what I'd use.

Casting ladle from Stanton Ironworks.
This ladle was used to transfer up to 5 tons of molten iron from larger ladles, the iron was then poured into pipe making machines. This ladle was the smallest size used at the Stanton Ironworks, the largest was six times as big.
Despite appearances it is not solid metal but made of fireproof bricks which were used to line the inside. This was then covered with a thin layer of steel.
The ladles were fastened to overhead cranes which moved them around the site. This ladle was used at the Stanhope Pipe plant until it closed in 2007.

this is 10 minutes experimenting with Canson's "Vidalon" vellum. cheaper than the other stuff, comes in pads, much, much easier to find. and it's double-sided which makes laying in washes really easy.it is not as smooth, but that little bit of tooth is starting to feel nice compared to the other stuff, helps me loosen up since i know it won't be that tight and overworked. super quick. works better with turp. doesn't flake the prismacolor as much when you brush it. it will not go as dark as the other stuff--i.e. not pitch black--but that's easily adjusted on a scanner or xerox machine.this stuff is a lot less intimidating and more fun. the other smooth stuff has a glass-like shiny coating on the back, so you can't do anything on it. you can go dark with it, but it's only going dark because the primacolor piles up like wax crayon on top of it. when you wash it, that dark stuff slides all over where you'd least expect it.

TOBACCO FIELD, KENTUCKY
The United States is by far the greatest tobacco-producing country in the world. In 1915 our country produced more than 1,000,000,000 pounds. Russia, the second important tobacco-growing country, produced, in 1913, about one-fifth of this amount. Austria-Hungary and France follow in this order. Among the crops of the United States, tobacco now takes seventh rank in value. Among the crops of the world it ranks ninth in value.
Tobacco is grown in many of our states. Kentucky easily leads all others in its production. In 1915 the crop of the state amounted to 356,400,000 pounds. North Carolina ranked second, with 198,400,000 pounds. Virginia came third, with 144,375,000 pounds; Ohio stood fourth, with 84,330,000 pounds; and Tennessee was fifth, with 69,675,000 pounds. Here is one of the fields in the famous Kentucky tobacco-growing district.
Tobacco seeds are sown in hotbeds or in cold frames, and the small plants are set out by hand or by machines. This transplanting takes place in April, May, or June, depending on the latitude. The rows are from 3 to 4 feet apart and the plants are variously spaced in the hills. Sometimes they are set as close as 1 1/2 feet. Other times they are twice this distance apart. The young plants are cultivated just as corn is. Before the bloom appears the tops are broken out in order that the strength of the plant may be forced into the leaves. The mature plants are from four to six feet high. Tobacco is harvested either by cutting the stalks or by breaking the leaves off. The leaves are hung in large barns where they are cured. You see a great number of these barns in the distance.
Tobacco is a native of America. The Indians were smoking the weed when Columbus discovered the Western Continent.
