While visiting a local bakery, called Krust n Crumbs, to order cake for my mother's upcoming 90th birthday party, I looked up from the counter and my eyes spotted the mixer of my dreams!
Vickers Gun.
We see them mounted on their steeds dressed in WW1 uniforms in the Anzac Day March.
They also make appearances at a variety of community activities.
They are the men and ladies who are the proud members of the 7th Light Horse Regiment Menangle Historical Troop and their mission is to keep alive the traditions and customs of the Australian Light Horse.
The Troop had a static display at the Belgenny Farm History Showcase which was held 18 August 2019.
A period replica white tent was erected which contained an amount of memorability of the era but the highlight was this replica Vickers Machine Gun.
Made entirely of wood the gun was imported from its manufacturer Relics a UK based company that produces a huge range of replica military paraphernalia.
This replica was obtained due to the generosity of Club Menangle the major sponsor of the Troop.

This vintage Ransomes threshing machine was being demonstrated at the Heddington & Stockley Steam Rally and Country Fair. The old tractor behind was being started up to provide power to the machine via a long belt.
Multi chambered mining pump. Eureka, Juab county, Utah.
Eureka is an old mining town fighting hard to not become a ghost town and making progress in that direction.
Work machines/drives are occupied transferring *>TBs of data, so this happened in the meantime.

My Lego hobby isn’t my work, but sometimes there are area’s where they come together.
I work as a director for a Dutch company in the field of engineering plastics and elastomers, and as it happens another known Lego builder is on my team as well: Jaap Kroon, mostly know as TechnicJaap, is designing all kinds of technical wizardry during weekdays, but when I came with the idea to decorate my office with some of our actual machinery replicated in Lego, he was on board quickly.
We chose two machines we operate in our factory, and both of us designed and created the replicas in 1:13, conveniently easy then to use them as load for my Lego trucks as well.
Jaap build a Covestro Baule polyurethane casting machine. We operate a couple of these to produce polyurethane parts for use in for example offshore and energy markets.
I then build a Hartford LG1000 CNC milling machine. We run a couple of machines like this as well, to produce special parts for high-tech applications worldwide.
The machines can be put on a dropdeck trailer with matching Peterbilt truck. A nice eye catcher in the office, and always a cool conversation piece!

I wanted to see a new waterfall today and it has got to where I have to drive over a 100 miles to do that as of lately. So I decided to check out Machine Falls in Tennesee because I have had several people tell me how awesome it was. They were not kidding especially with the icicles there. However if visiting you will probably have to wade across the creek to get to the easier access. And folks wonder why I hike in shorts and flip flops.....
Spent this Labor Day morning at the Idaho State Fair....and of course packed the camera around, trying very hard to get interesting shots or at least something different.....so here it is....what do you all think...
You ever experience one of those weird dreams? This may have been taken late last summer, I’m not sure, lol. I forgot that I had taken/edited it and I believe the reasoning for this is because I wasn’t initially feeling it — it’s starting to grow on me a bit!
If a neighborhood establishes itself as an art community shouldn't it's entire space, with all of the contents, be art? Including the ATM's??
Here's one of several "enhanced" ATM's located in the Alberta Arts District of Portland, Oregon.
Citybus continue to pour new buses onto Plymouth's street and the latest are the Green Flash E400s with the 'older' type being the preferred option over MMC spec.
Makes sense from maintenance and operations point of view, looks great in the livery and sound good too!
The light was much worse than it looks in this shot, the fact I was using 5000 iso to get a sharp-ish shot on the move says it all!
