Sunday 31 March 2013, FIS had a very nice meetup in the Industrial neighbourhood of Mullae-dong. This former iron working district is gradually being turned over to artists' studios and galleries. I am not sure if it could really be called urban renewal, but certainly an interesting corner of an old neighbourhood.

This is my second time-machine. In 1965 I started to take photography seriously. My teacher had a Yashica 635, wìth that Sun Aux, very impressive! Today I even had 1965 Plus-X prof in it. You can see the Sun-vignetting and the film-problems but what the heck!

BTW the developer was good old seventies Реактив, muddy like the Фиксаж, but I did use it without hesitation! See next pic for all that stuff.

Laundry machines by Steve1957

There is a laundry area on each deck with two washers and dryers. Also there is a vending machine for powdered soap, bleach and softener. To the left of this picture there is an ironing board and an iron as well as a change machine. It costs $1.00 to wash and $.25 for every 15 minutes of drying time. The soap costs $1 for a box which does one load.

These giant machines are used to put coal out to the stockpile and reclaim coal from the stockpile. A Bucket Wheel Machine can move approximately 3,000 tonnes of coal in an hour.

Bucket wheel machines run on rail tracks which are about a quarter of a mile in length.

The cutting wheel is 9 metres in diameter and has nine buckets.

mainly for the betterment of ang's sanity, we went out and got a stroller. Ruby seems to like it a lot. My main consolation in having one of these bulky contraptions around the house is that I can walk through town with my $100 stroller and watch all the trendites with $1800 bugaboos strolling with just as much ease as me.
