While my girlfriend was fixing my pants I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the nice old Singer sewing machine.
we snuck into the art museum for free the other afternoon, but nothing compares to the art that you can see for free on the side of the street.

The Gumbotron is a machine that vends gumballs through an elaborate set of ramps, before it pops out in the chute below.
This is a really old image that was taken in 2008. It sat in a yogurt shop in San Luis Obispo, CA before the place went out of business a year later.
I wonder how many people actually purchase out of this machine. People keep looking but no one has bought anything. Everything is standard retail pricing suprisingly.
First sketches and models for the Time Machine, a new interactive art project created by Pataphysical Studios.
In this brainstorm session, each team member sketched out their own ideas, then discussed them with the group, to design our upcoming time travel experience together.
Next, we plan to create a composite design with some of these ideas, to integrate them into a single blueprint.

insert a coin and this machine will light up a dil... er, candle for you, supporting your prayer ... or at least the local church ... found in the cathedral of Santa Giusta, near Oristano, Sardinia, Italy. The artificial candles even have some artificial molten wax at their tops

So, just as we were leaving the tasting room after an uncharacteristically short day of work, we saw the fabled press arrive. It'd been tied up in PDX customs for a few weeks by then and I don't think anyone believed it was every going to actually show up.
To see this partry finally arrive was like happening upon a circus.
My favorite shot from a quick trip to the Phoenix Auto Show today at the Convention Center. I was lucky to get this shot, since the motorcycle was next to the wall and roped off in the back of the Harleys on display. Looks great large, well, I guess if you like motorcycle shots and machinery. This was one of the most remarkable Harley Davidson "bikes" I've ever seen.

This is the token key machine. The signalman pulls the key up into the top position, presses the knob in several times, which sends a signal to the train driver, who in return sends a signal back which allows the signalman to release the key which is then taken out and handed to the train driver. The train can’t leave without being given the key, which the train driver then has to hand to the signalman and the end of the line. The process is then repeated for the return journey.
Took this shot of the Haemodialysis machine that my wife is connected to three times a week.
This is one of the reasons that I am not on flickr as often.
