my very first macaroon like these above was eaten in paris. and it was heaven :)

My dog snuck into my shot and ate a macaroon :)

I ate the whole jar, all fifty dollar's worth.

my favourites: lemon, green apple, liquorice and pistachio.

Inhaled half a box of coconut macaroons. Oops.

I haven't made these since helping my Mum make them in the late 1960's. Mum taught me well in the kitchen, a good thing as I had to take over most of the the cooking in 1972. The u tube recipes all had chocolate. I think I prefer them without it.
