Andrews M.C.W. bodied Leyland Fleetline NOC 496 R was new to West Midlands P.T.E. (#6496) and is pictured in Sheffield city centre. Andrews buses were named rather than given numbers, this one being Robin Hood.

Eastern National M.C.W. Metroliner 1600 (B457 WHJ) is seen at Pool Meadow bus station, Coventry on the 9th of May 1987.

Some features that Weymann built into their Fanfare body are obvious on this 1956/57 Leyland Royal Tiger.Apart from the larger windows on the Arcadian the overall shape is virtually the same on both types.

Alexander bodied M.C.W. Metrobus 271 (ULS 621X) was new to Alexander (Midland) and latter passed to Kelvin Scottish. It also worked for Cardiff Bluebird. It's seen entering Trafalgar Square, London on the 23rd of June 2001.
Arriva Original London Sightseeing Tour open top M.C.W. Metrobus MB509, GYE 509 W is pictured at Grosvenor Gardens, Victoria wearing City Sightseeing livery. This bus was new to London Buses numbered M509 reaching the O.L.S.T. via Leaside Buses and Arriva London.
Travel West Midlands M.C.W. bodied Leyland Fleetline 6898, TVP 898 S is pictured at Showbus 2006, Duxford.
Big Bus Company open top M.C.W. bodied Daimler Fleetline GHM 854 N was originally numbered DMS1854 in the London Transport fleet and is pictured at Hyde Park Corner.
Seen at Pool Meadow bus station, Coventry on the 9th of May 1987 is West Midlands Travel M.C.W. Metrobus 2935 (D935 NOA) in Timesaver livery. It would be 20 years before I visited Coventry again and the railway station still hasn't got nearer the city centre. LOL
Metrobus M.C.W. Metrobus 316, BYX 216 V was new to London Buses (#M216), passing to London General on privatisation and is pictured at Old Steine, Brighton.

Leyland Panther Cub with M.C.W. bodywork, new as a Leyland Demonstrator in 1966 and exhibited at the Earls Court Motor Show, later Eastbourne Corporation 92.
This photo was taken on 28 September 1966 outside Earls Court.
Former MPTE 1978 Leyland Atlantean AN68/1R with M.C.W. bodywork, carrying the Wallasey Corporation Motors livery and the Blue Wirral Division Fleet Emblem, pulling up alongside No1
This bus never carried the livery in service, a nod to 1789, which carried the livery as part of The Big Bus Show in 1979, were several buses received liveries of the past.

Foundation stone 11 Feb 1922 by John Barker, architect Alfred Wells, opened 24 May 1922, extensions (chancel, choir, sacristy & choir vestry) foundation stone 15 Jul 1934 by Mrs Dean Barry, opened 17 Nov 1934, consecrated 28 Sep 1939. War memorial hall foundation stone 17 Dec 1961 by M C W Gooden, opened 29 Apr 1962.
“The laying of the foundation stone of the new Anglican Church at Henley Beach was performed on Saturday afternoon by Mr. John Barker. . . The new structure would consist of four bays of the nave, porch, baptistry, and vestry.” [Register 13 Feb 1922]
“On Wednesday evening Dr. Thomas will dedicate the new church, situated at the corner of South street and Military road, Henley Beach. It will take the name of St. Michael and All Angels.” [Register 20 May 1922]
“lofty and imposing, and constructed of brick, wood and iron. . . . It is well lighted by four Gothic windows on either side, and artistically illuminated by electric light.” [Register 25 May 1922]
