There were an integrally-constructed bus ,built by Metro-Cammell in Birmingham , on a Scania BR111DH underframe.
Allocated in South-East London to Peckham and New Cross Garages, a Peckham example MD108 is seen here on the Bus Stand in Vauxhall Bridge Road, at Victoria.

Kingston-Upon Hull City Transport East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator 137, E 137 SAT was still wearing Hull Tramways livery to commemorate the company's 90th anniversary celebrated in 1989 when pictured loading at Hull bus station in 1992. It is being passed by fleet liveried M.C.W. Metrobus 505, LAT 505 V.

Heysham Travel operated most of the Alexander RH bodied M.C.W. Metrobuses that were new to Merseyside Transport and only two gained Heysham Travel livery with the others remaining in Merseybus maroon & cream with Lancashire Travel fleetnames from their previous allocation to St Helens. One of those that wasn't repainted was 0058, DEM 758 Y which was pictured having terminated at the Black Bull at Brookhouse after working a school service from Lancaster before returning empty back there.
Kelvin Central Alexander RL bodied M.C.W. Metrobus 1628, ULS 634 X was new to Midland Scottish and is pictured in Glasgow city centre.

This bus was new to Midland Scottish (#MRM100) before being transferred to Kelvin Scottish upon its formation, later being sold back to Midland Bluebird (#800) and eventually being numbered 31578 in the First Edinburgh fleet.

Heysham Travel Alexander RH bodied M.C.W. Metrobus 0056, EKA 156 Y was new to Merseyside Transport and was transferred here from parent company Merseybus. It is one of two of this type (0056/7) of vehicle to receive this version of the livery whilst a third example (0060) was repainted but with green roof & top deck window surrounds instead of white. It is pictured at the Beaumont Green terminus of service 451 prior to making the return journey to Lancaster city centre.

Newport Transport 104 (PGC 204L), Metro-Scania CR111MH fitted with M.C.W. B41D body, new 8/73.
Number 104 was one of five Metro-Scania saloons acquired from London Transport (MS1, 3-6) in October 1978. MS1 was used for spares, although it had received a full Newport repaint, while MS3 to 6 (PGC 203-6) entered service in late 1978, early 1979 as numbers 103 to 106. Although very similar to Newport's fleet of Scanias, they differed in several mechanical areas and internally. Here, number 104 is shown in Gaer Road on 23 April 1990 working back into the town centre. By this date the bus had given a creditable eleven years service, it was withdrawn at the years end.

Only a couple of brave souls take to the extensive top deck during one of the downpours on 4 October 09. Tri-axle MCW Metroliner B121ORU, was formerly operated by Arriva London for sightseeing in the capital, and is now engaged on similar duties with Maghull Coaches in Liverpool. (Not sure about the colour of those wheels!)
MTL acquired numerous used vehicles during the 1990s, one of which was former Sunderland Busways M.C.W. bodied Leyland Fleetline 378, VCU 378 T which was initially loaned to Heysham Travel before being permanently allocated to Fareway. The Sunderland Busways livery was similar to Heysham Travel's and the vehicle doesn't look out of place when pictured at Middleton Road depot, Heysham.
Arriva London North Alexander RH bodied Leyland Olympian L342, J 342 BSH is pictured passing First Centrewest M.C.W. Metrobus M884, OJD 884 Y at Euston station. The Olympian was later converted to open top for uses by Arriva on The Original London Sightseeing Tour whilst the Metrobus was sent to First West Yorkshire as a source of spares.

This bus has a Leyland engine so it is a CRL6 and this is one of the batch bodied by M C W .

In the mid-1990s the Bee Line Buzz Company leased a number of M.C.W. Metrobuses from Travel West Midlands in order to reduce the age profile of its fleet. These included 774, LOA 435 X that was numbered 2435 in the Travel West Midlands fleet and was pictured in Stockport bus station. These buses were returned at the end of their lease period.
G.M.N. Buses M.C.W. Metrorider 1597, E 275 REP (left) was new to South Wales Transport (#275) and is pictured alongside Warrington Borough Transport East Lancs bodied Dennis Dominator F 98 STB in Wigan bus station.

Soon after introduction in 1972, the Metro-Scania saloons became a familiar sight on the Ringland estate services (8A/C and 19). They operated alongside Newport's large fleet of Alexander bodied Atlanteans and later the Scania powered Metropolitan deckers, well into the 1980s. The first withdrawals of the type began in 1983, while the last were to soldier on into 1989 (with the exception of no.58 and three ex LTE examples). Here, number 40 is shown in Hendre Farm Drive on an 8A working in July 1983. It was withdrawn in early 1987 and dismantled for spares.
Red Bus was the trading name of A2B Coaches, a Bispham based operator which operated a route from Cleveleys bus station to Blackpool Pleasure Beach via the promenade and charging a £1 flat fare. This service ran during the summer 2001 season using a fleet of M.C.W. Metrobuses that were new to London Transport and were acquired from Arriva London and all which operated in as acquired condition but the service was not a success and the company folded, with the vehicles all passing to Archway Travel of Poulton-le-Fylde. The service seemed to have little patronage although a small queue has formed to board GYE 445 W, originally numbered M445 in the L.T. fleet and wearing Arriva London livery when photographed heading north along the promenade on a Cleveleys bound service.

Arriva Original London sightseeing Tour open top M.C.W. Super Metrobus MkII EMB768, E 768 JAR 9ex-DU8346 [HK]) is pictured in Coventry Street near Piccadilly Circus. It was later loaned to Dualway, Rathcole for operation in Dublin where it was registered 87-D-39112.
Yorkshire Terrier M.C.W. Metrobus MkII 1737, POG 595 Y was new to WEst Midlands P.T.E. (#2595) and is pictured in Sheffield city centre. It was later renumbered 15988 by Stagecoach following their takeover of the Yorkshire Traction Group and later passed to M Travel, Castleford.
Preserved Strathtay M.C.W. Metrorider 213, E 186 BNS is pictured at a bus rally at Brough. This bus was new to Strathclyde's Buses (#M89) before being transferred to G.C.T. (#GM47) and later to Kelvin Central (#1059 then MM34 & finally MM89). It was later sold to Yorkshire Traction, initially for spares but deemed too good for that and placed in service numbered 352 before being transferred to Strathtay where it remained until being bought for preservation.
