Story in English and Dutch:
The attentive viewer sees a beautiful silhouette of a stately queen who is almost hidden in nature due to her chameleon-like camouflage colors. The queen of life spreads her mighty wings and takes off. She begins to fly and her flying style can best be described as a combination of Superman and the Dragon Queen. She flies over the beautiful city park with a wonderful arch bridge. She inhales the scent of nature and continues her journey towards the amazing artwork of the shepherd with his flock of sheep. She flies past the fascinating Zimmer Tower and reads the time on the mysterious clock. Everywhere she sees people sitting on terraces at bars and restaurants. From above she flies over the city gate. After that she is impressed by the breathtakingly beautiful historic city hall and the big market square with the historic houses. Her eyes start to shine as she elegantly maneuvers through the large courtyard. She flies as never before but for a moment she is descending like a swallow to cool off in the water of the river Nete. Satisfied, she takes off again like a fighter jet on a peacekeeping mission to return to the park where she can briefly enjoy the pink leaves that lie on the ground like a painting.

De oplettende kijker ziet een prachtig silhouet van een statige koningin die door haar kameleonachtige camouflage bijna verscholen tussen de takken zit. De koningin van het leven spreidt haar machtige vleugels en stijgt op. Ze begint te vliegen en haar vliegstijl kan het beste worden omschreven als een combinatie van Superman en de Drakenkoningin. Ze vliegt over het prachtige stadspark met de romantische boogbrug. Ze ademt de geur van de natuur in en vervolgt haar reis naar het verbazingwekkende kunstwerk van de herder met zijn kudde schapen. Ze vliegt daarna langs de fascinerende Zimmertoren en leest de tijd op de mysterieuze klok. Overal ziet ze mensen op terrassen zitten bij bars en restaurants. Van bovenaf vliegt ze over de stadspoort. Vervolgens is ze diep onder de indruk van het adembenemend mooie historische stadhuis en het grote marktplein met de historische huizen. Haar ogen beginnen te glinsteren terwijl ze zich elegant door de grote binnenplaats van het hof manoeuvreert. Ze vliegt als nooit tevoren, maar even daalt ze af naar beneden als een soort zwaluw om af te koelen in het water van de rivier de Nete. Tevreden stijgt ze weer op om als een straaljager op vredesmissie terug te keren naar haar park waar ze nog even kan genieten van de roze bladeren die als decor in een schilderij op de grond liggen.

The perimeter, at half coast of the fortress, is all enclosed by crenellated walls dating back to medieval times and finished in the fifteenth century. Halfway in the small interior plateau of the fortress are the remains of a megalithic building dating from the ninth century BC Called Diana Temple.

The Forest of Bowland, also known as the Bowland Fells, is an area of barren gritstone fells, deep valleys and peat moorland, mostly in north-east Lancashire, England. A small part lies in North Yorkshire, and much of the area was historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire. It has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) since 1964, and is used for grouse shooting, walking and cycling, though it is relatively unfrequented by tourists. One of the best known features of the area is Pendle Hill, which is separated from the main part of the Forest of Bowland AONB by the Ribble Valley.
13% of the AONB is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest for its important areas of heather moorland and blanket bog. The area is nationally and internationally important for its upland bird populations – the hen harrier is the symbol of the AONB. There are over 500 listed buildings and 18 scheduled monuments within the AONB.
The name 'forest' is used in its traditional sense of 'a royal hunting ground', and much of the land still belongs to the British Crown as part of the Duchy of Lancaster. In the past wild boar, deer, wolves, wild cats and game roamed the forest.

Bowland remains as the northwestern remainder of the ancient wilderness that once stretched over a huge part of England, encompassing the Forest of Bowland, Sherwood Forest (Nottinghamshire), the New Forest (Hampshire) and Savernake Forest (Wiltshire). While the Trough of Bowland (the valley and high pass connecting the Wyre (at Marshaw) and Langden Brook and dividing the upland core of Bowland into two main blocks) represents the area, to many, on account of its popularity, it is in fact only a small part of the wider Forest of Bowland area.
The hills on the western side of the Forest of Bowland attract walkers from Lancaster and the surrounding area. Overlooking Lancaster is Clougha Pike, the western-most hill. The hills form a large horseshoe shape with its open end facing west. Clockwise from Lancaster the hills are Clougha Pike (413 m), Grit Fell (468 m), Ward's Stone (561 m), Wolfhole Crag (527 m), White Hill (544 m), Whins Brow (476 m), Totridge (496 m), Parlick (432 m), Fair Snape Fell (510 m), Bleasdale Moor (429 m), and Hawthornthwaite fell (478 m).
The area is home to the geographic centre of Great Britain which is close to the Whitendale Hanging Stones, around 4 miles (6.4 km) north of Dunsop Bridge.
The Forest of Bowland is home to an annual challenge event: The Bowland Challenge where teams of walkers navigate around a series of grid references over a ten hour period. Proceeds of the event go to support Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team.

I've not be well this week - rotten horrid cold. I don't get them very often but when I do they tend to knock me off my feet. Having asthma I have to be doubly careful.
Kaiser has loved having me home and has been a marvellous carer whilst I've been lying 'dying' in bed. He was very disappointed this morning when he saw me getting ready for work.
Hopefully I will feel tip top by Sunday so we can go out adventuring.

Hey friends! I haven't posting regularly with school and sports taking so much of my time, but I'll try to step it up. My parents just surprised me and took me to Florida for my Feb break, so amid spending time with family I got in a lot of birding. I'll be sharing plenty more from that starting now.
This is a Burrowing Owl, probably a female. These birds are ridiculously cute and very fun to watch standing outside their burrows, occasionally digging and yelling at each other. This bird, probably a female, was a little skeptical of me, so I had to lie down quietly on the sidewalk and military-crawl my way towards her. The grass and flowers offered a nice foreground as the sun peered above the treeline.

2015 will see the final remaining step entry single deck vehicles and in particular those with underfloor engines withdrawn from front line service following a new DDA law coming into effect for the type from Friday 1st January 2015.
Once such type which has held out until almost the very end is the Plaxton Paladin bodied Volvo B10M and at the time of writing now one example remains in traffic with Stagecoach East Kent at Dover.
Seen here in the summer of 2014 when the type were still a familiar sight around Hastings, Stagecoach East Kent 20649 R649 HCD is seen on Marina, St Leonards-on-Sea whilst working a short route 98 to Sidley. Thursday 12th June 2014.
