Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Dampflok-Ausbesserungswerk in Braunschweig befindet sich der Lokpark der VBV (Verein Braunschweiger Verkehrsfreunde e.V.). Der Lokpark beherbergt vereinseigenen historischen Züge. Höhepunkt eines jeden Jahres sind sicherlicher die im Sommer immer stattfindenden Oldietage.
Der Lokpark beherbergt eine große Auswahl aller möglicher Schienenfahrzeuge wie Dampf- oder Diesellokomotiven (z.B. V170, V65, Köf) sowie Triebwagen (z.B. VT08.5), aber auch eher außergewöhnliche Schienenfahrzeuge wie z.B. einen Schienen-Opel, ein Schienenfahrrad, Schienenbagger oder ein Schienendrehkran. Bei Veranstaltungen sind häufig auch Gastlokomotiven und Züge zu sehen.

During the American Revolution, revolutionary troops from the southern colonies assaulted the British garrison in an attempt to 'liberate' Quebec City, in a conflict now known as the Battle of Quebec (1775). The Americans did not attack Canada after the War of 1812, but the Citadelle continued to house a large British garrison until 1871. It is still in use by the military and is also a tourist attraction.
