Lowering water brings the egrets together for spring fishing.
I will be out taking pictures for the next several days, back late next week.
the Lower Pond in the Penicuik estate ... love this place at all times of the year but its looking pretty stunning right now. Wil lhave to go back again during the week as the trees are just turning now so there should be a lot more of this golden stuff in a few days!

Continuing the routine, L-HLA816 begins shoving light into the former Chrysler Plant Lead, backing down toward what was once a yard filled of Dodge and Plymouth products. Now, it sits as a yard barely filled with revenue cars, with BNSF occasionally bringing in cars in for storage. Operations within the yard are handled by Burlington Junction Railway which makes sporadic runs switching the remaining customers. Coming back out, 816 would have a cut of several 2-Bay hoppers plus a string of boxcars that had been tucked away in storage, making the short local the size of some manifest.

The creek was flooded and not really safe to cross at least not with Matthew and my mother. I have never seen it like this!!! Guess you cant always have cooperative watefalls.
With all the mist and the water spray it was impossible to photograph this beautiful falls from viewing deck. I climbed down to the river father from the falls, so I could keep the camera dry. For this photo I used ND filter to make the water silky. Thank you all for visiting my photostream.

Lower Seletar Reservoir (Chinese: å®žé‡Œè¾¾è“„æ°´æ± ä¸‹æ®µ ; Malay: Takungan Air Seletar Bawah) is a reservoir located in the northeastern part of Singapore, to the east of Yishun New Town. The reservoir has a surface area of 3.6 km², and a capacity of 9.5 million m³. The mean depth of the reservoir is 2 m, with a maximum depth of 5.5 m. The shoreline length is 14.3 km.
Lower Seletar Reservoir was constructed under the Sungei Seletar/Bedok Water Scheme, completed in 1986. The scheme involved the damming of Sungei Seletar to form Lower Seletar Reservoir, the creation of Bedok Reservoir from a former sand quarry and the construction of Bedok Waterworks. Its unique feature was the construction of nine stormwater collection stations to tap the storm runoffs of the surrounding urbanised catchments. Eight of these collection stations are ponds at Yishun, Tampines, Bedok and Yan Kit new towns.

The Elakala Falls are a series of four beautiful waterfalls found along Shays Run in Blackwater Falls State Park. This was my first time shooting them, and I can't wait until I can make a return trip. There are no official trails leading to the lower falls, so one must scramble through dense thickets of rhododendrons, slippery rocks, and navigate around large boulders to reach the lower sections. This is the third waterfall in the series, and is the largest of the four- an impressive 40 feet in height.

Lower Lagarina valley 20191020
Lagarina Valley is a valley in northern Italy, used to define the lower mountain course of the Adige River. It is mostly included in the province of Trentino, with the lower section being part of the province of Verona. The largest town is Rovereto.
As with the Val d'Adige, the Vallagarina is of glacial origin. Orographically, it separates the Brescian and Gardesane Prealps to the west from the Venetian Prealps to the east.

Pre-gentrification Lower Manhattan was filled with early 20th century skyscrapers and clusters of four story brick buildings which once dominated the landscape in the mid 19th century, but were now mostly abandoned and/or decrepit relics of old industry and neighborhoods. (see the photo below).
