Montclair-Boonton Line train 522 bound for Hoboken Terminal is seen crossing the Hackensack River on April 2, 2022. Trains on the Montclair-Boonton Line are the only ones that use this bridge on the weekends, operating every two hours in each direction, while all other weekend services from Hoboken head north via Secaucus Junction lower level.

Sitting in the glorious sun on the first truly warm day of the year, this is a view from the starbuck's patio of the Bay Centre looking West down Lower Fort Street. There is a construction site almost right across the street. The trees are flowering now and the leaves are just starting to come out - a very light yellowy green. Almost a "vertical sketch" but not quite (not the minimum 2:1 vertical to horizontal ratio). Bring on the spring and summer!
Took a solo hike in to the Sipsey Wilderness Area in search of White Falls. Parked at Randolph Trailhead and took 201 to Rippey Cabin (if a cinderblock building can be considered a cabin). After a short break continued on down to the Sipsey Fork and turned downstream. Short distance later turned upstream on White Creek. I could almost immediately hear the falls reverberating through the trees.
We took a detour from our original plan (and I'm really glad we did) for Sunday and headed out to see Antelope Canyon. It's a location on the bucket list of many photographers and after experiencing it in person, I can see why. That tiny little slot above the ground masks an amazing wonder when you head down inside.
