The girls ( thats Tallulah at the front, Koko poking her tongue out at the back ) on the garden table, I was on the ground looking up at them. Kind of fun and cute for the theme : o ))
Celebrating 35 years of The Thing. A small tribute to one of my all-time favourite movies: the atmosphere, the horror, the effects, the story!
This is a scene looking down the main corridor of the base. It's not a "perfect imitation" of any specific scene but just a nod to the overall awesomeness.
For anyone that shares a love of all Things Thing-related, check out Outpost31.com for some cool film nerdery and stuff.
CWC470. Thirumazhisai, Chennai, India.
Thirumazhisai, once very famous for hand looms is now a witness to the plight of this art fading away with emergence of power looms and drought in man power as people steadily moving towards other opportunities with better prospects.
And this is the picture I captured of a man on the spinning wheel, who is a combination of disappointment and determination. Disappointment because it is almost twilight for what has been his passion all his life. Determination because it is what all it takes to overcome the disappointment and keep the work going.
Made in Austria, I love these little brooms. Not sure if you can still find them around.

From our front lawn. The daisies were just beginning to wake up and there was lovely morning dew on the grass tips.
Pure and unfiltered Kitsch :-)
A shot from last year taken in Fusine Lakes, FVG (North-East Italy).
A big snowfall covered in white the mountain ranges while the lower landscape was already green!
Snow Goose - Richmond, BC, Canada - January 2017.
I had a great opportunity recently to photograph a group of around 50 Snow Geese up close. Usually when I see these birds close enough for portrait photos they are on grass, so it was awesome to watch and photograph this flock do their thing in a flooded field, a more natural setting.

Trying to master the wide angle Laowa 9mm (FF13.5mm) manual lens. I was very low and very close to these grasses. What do you think? Have I managed to get it right?

A quiet flock of ducks drifts through the fog on a warm morning pond—more silhouette than substance, like nature pressing snooze.
Shot right at sunrise, when the world is still deciding whether to wake up.
