I've tried to capture this exact scene hundreds of other times after this, but have since been unsuccessful.

Since they are plentiful around I kind of specialized myself in these incredibly beautiful mammals. During the past two years I’ve been crawling a respectful distance to capture them at the lowest angle possible. I always rest my camera gear on a self-made bean bag (toddler size camo shorts filled with seeds) and crawl closer and closer. Tonight it took me 18 minutes to cover around 250-300 meters and even though this Hare was alert it got down to continue eating. Probably it trusted me I wouldn’t get closer.

the hand is large. it rests on the tile. a fact. his face is a study of concentration. the floor is a map, he is placing the last piece. the pants are dirty. the bucket is old. this is the work. it is a precise, quiet act. a moment of creation.

"Myosotis (/ˌmaɪ.əˈsoʊtɪs/;[2] from the Greek: μυοσωτίς "mouse's ear", after the leaf) is a genus of flowering plants in the family Boraginaceae. In the northern hemisphere they are commonly called forget-me-nots[3] or scorpion grasses. The common name "forget-me-not" was calqued from the German Vergissmeinnicht, and first used in English in 1398 AD via King Henry IV.[4] Similar names and variations are found in many languages.." Saw these dandelions, so I took this photo laying on my belly on the sidewalk :)

The Aegidien church (Aegidienkirche) church was built in the 14th Century in Hanover. In 1943 the church was destroyed during a bombing raid. After the war, the Aegidienkirche was not rebuilt and its ruins were kept as a memorial to the victims of wars and violence.

Low angle shot of helicopter. Got down on the grass to shoot this and took to long to get back up. The firemen came to see if I was ok. Old photographer can't get up and down like I used to.

The Sandhills lupine is a flower that only reaches about 8 inches tall, and thrives on sandy, disturbed soil such as roadsides. The low light seemed right for the pov. Submitted for #LowAngle #FlickrFriday.

Roe deer, in late evening light. The low shooting angle together with the reflection from the autumn leaf color and the low light, created a sparkling palette of bright, warm colors and framed the deer in an unusual way.
