Crawling under the Solomon's Seal to tidy up some over enthusiastic Spanish Bluebell, I was distracted by the shadowy magic.
As I was returning home from this bike ride, I couldn't help but spontaneously stop to take a quick photo. Serendipity!

Looking up and catching a glimpse of the sky between the tall trees - it's gray today.

Tittar upp och skymtar himlen mellan de höga träden - den är grå idag.
Bokeh the Frosty
A cold morning turning into a beautiful day, I felt spring in the air (again :))
Hmmm, I realised I love bokeh and macro photography. I also love newborn baby photography - everything small and cute and fragile is my kind of thing :)
Taken with Canon 5D, 24-70mm macro lens at 58mm, f2.8 a nice, clean lens it is!
Thanks all for your comments :D

I love this beautiful flowers as first sign of spring ... seen in the spa gardens of Bad Cannstatt - Stuttgart, Germany.
Galanthus (snowdrop; Greek gála "milk", ánthos "flower") is a small genus of about 20 species of bulbous herbaceous plants in the family Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae. Most flower in winter, before the vernal equinox (20 or 21 March in the Northern Hemisphere), but certain species flower in early spring and late autumn. (Wikipedia)
Wish you a lovely and happy weekend!

Netherlands is always a paradise but when it is spring it turns extra paradise. These beauties parade all along the field competing with each other.
This is the beginning of my series in which I take you in the Journey to visit these colorful beauties. First of the series is the WHITE BEAUTY.

Rim light on dunes near sunset, Death Valley National Park.
For the most part I avoided tourist-popular places during my recent visit to Death Valley. However, I confess that I did camp in a well-known parking lot, uh, I mean campground for one night so that I could be closer to sand dunes. On that evening and again the following morning I headed out to some places along the edges and back of the dune fields to photograph this always-fascinating subject.
This photograph comes from the evening shoot, for which I headed to a spot where I find sequences of receding dune crests that are perpendicular to the setting sun. I aimed almost exactly in the direction of the sun just as it was about to drop behind mountains, and I performed some gymnastics in order to shade the lens and minimize flare. On a technical note, this subject provided the opportunity to use a special setup — a medium format zoom lens attached to my full frame camera using an adapter that provides tilt and shift adjustments.
