A European Turtle Dove walks in towards a small water puddle, perhaps pausing on its migratory journey south to northern sub-Saharan Africa to winter The setting is a vast, steppe-like landscape in Castilla-La Mancha, Spain, offering a peaceful backdrop as the bird seeks refreshment.
An Azure-winged Magpie raises its vibrant blue tail, a likely sign of excitement, while gathering near an almost hidden pool. Captured from a low angle, this characteristic pose reflects the bird's social behavior
Photographed from a hide in the Bakony region of Hungary, this Great Spotted Woodpecker appeared for a quiet moment among the soft colours of the woodland.
I wanted to portray not only the bird itself, but also its natural beauty and elegance. Its striking black, white and red plumage stands out beautifully against the warm, softly blurred background, while the moss-covered ground completes the peaceful forest atmosphere.
Moments like this remind me how much beauty can be found in nature when we take the time to observe it quietly and with respect.

For this shot I was leaning out of the gameviewer using the display of my camera to get as low as possible.
I take pictures because I like it, not because I am good at it.

Looking straight up at a rust-orange arched rooftop structure and ribbed metal cladding in central Alicante, shot against a flawless blue sky. Late-morning sun casts slatted shadows across the corrugated surfaces, while the curved rim sweeps through the frame like a drawn line. Found urban minimalism: colour, repetition and geometry, nothing else needed.

[ES] Vista desde abajo, una estructura de cubierta arqueada en naranja óxido y un revestimiento metálico acanalado, en pleno centro de Alicante, se recortan contra un cielo azul impecable. El sol de última hora de la mañana proyecta sombras de lamas sobre las superficies corrugadas, mientras el borde curvo recorre el encuadre como una línea trazada. Minimalismo urbano hallado al paso: color, repetición y geometría, sin necesitar nada más.

I'm by no means a mushroom specialist and also not the biggest fan in the world in terms of mushroom dishes but I think this might be a nice penny bun. The forest below Easdon Tor in Dartmoor National Park was full of all sorts of fungi, the shamrocks added a nice bit of additional interest to the woodland scene. I would however not dare to pick any as I have no idea about what is delicious and what is lethal....

A magical, low-angle macro portrait of a classic Fly Agaric mushroom (Amanita muscaria) perching among fallen beech leaves and moss-covered tree roots at the historic Elswout Estate in Overveen. The vivid red cap dotted with white warty spots catches the ambient woodland light beautifully, creating a enchanting, storybook atmosphere against a dark bokeh background.
