A friend has these fun character's at home, I've always admired their cuteness.
They've sat on the same shelf together for over 6 years that I'm aware of, I've known many friends who's relationship have not lasted as long, hence these characters inspired the title of this post with tags to match .
we've had Chloe for over 3 months now and it feels like she's always been in our lives. We can't imagine not having her. She makes us smile at the end of those long boring work days and she really makes our house feel like home.

I know this is pretty dull, but I needed to upload something so I could put my 'Ask Me Anything' answers up.. I took this at Beacon Fell today. The weather was terrible.
Ask Me Anything Answers:
Q: Would you rather stay a night at taxal lodge or have your hair cut by a 4 year old? :)
- A: DEFINITELY Taxal Lodge haha. I don't think I'd ever ever have the guts to let a 4 year old loose on my hair, although Taxal Lodge is pretty scary, it's one night. My hair would take ages to grow back and I would look even more like a moron haha.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world that you haven't been to before, where would you go?
- A: There are SO many places I'd love to go. Australia, Italy, Japan, China, America (New York especially!), Canada, New Zealand, arggh theres loads! I want to be able to experience other ways of life, I find it really interesting.
Q: What is your favourite disney film?
- A: Wow, thats a difficult one! I always loved The Lion King. It makes me cry though! So does Bambi.. I also like Alice in Wonderland, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, The Parent Trap, The Jungle Book, Bedknobs and Broomsticks, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Hocus Pocus, Aladdin, Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Peter Pan... god this list is getting looonnggg! Hahaha. Oops! I got a bit carried away.
Q: Have you ever been in love?
- A: Yes. Haha. Short answer there!
Q: Where is your favourite spot to be in the world and why?
- A: I have a few. I love Andorra, because thats where I first went skiing and I have loads of happy memories there. I also love home, because it's home. I like Nice too, in France. I love the way of life there, when we went there I didn't want to go home. I would go back at the drop of a hat! I love the countryside as well, it's so peaceful and beautiful.. I could stay there forever. As long as it's not raining :P
Q: Where do you think you will be in five years time?
- A: Hopefully I will be working as a Photographer somewhere. After completing my degree, thats if I don't go onto further studying but I doubt that anyway. I might have moved away from home, to be nearer better opportunities, but we shall see. Thats all I know really.. well I say know, I mean hope.
Q: Who is your favourite historical photographer?
- A: I can't really answer that question, because I don't know! haha. But.. I do know, that I'm pretty amazed by Nicephore Niepce. Google him :)
Q: If you could make one wish, what would it be?
- A: These questions are boggling my head! Ummm.. one wish. Can I wish for more wishes?! Haha.. I'd wish to accomplish everything I want to with my Photography.. and to be happy for the rest of my life.
Q: Do you have any bad habits?
- A: Hahaa, why have you asked me that? Why do you do this to me? Uhhh, my boyfriend HATES it when I rub my eyes when i'm tired, haha, taking loads of food and then not eating it all... I'm sometimes quite forgetful, leaving junk in my boyfriend's car (he's worse :P), leaving Photography stuff all over the place, letting the cat drink out of the tap, leaving him in there to drink as much as he wants and then forgetting to turn it off when he's finished. Oh, and I'm a MASSIVE worrier! Like, majorly.
Q: What two words would you use to describe yourself?
- A: Bad with numbers
Q: Brody Dalle or Debbie Harry?
- A: I can't answer that.. its too hard. And I hate you for asking it. I pick Brody Harry.
Q: What is your favorite cartoon character?
- A: I like Tinkerbell. Good things come in small packages! Even though she's a bit of a jealous bitch haha. I think Piglet is cute, and I like Piglet mainly because of the fact I have a tiny little Piglet that my Grandma made me when I was a baby and she died when I was very young. You can probably find it somewhere on my photostream :) Modelling!
Q: Who is your biggest inspiration or role model? / If you could name your biggest influences, who would they be? / Whats ur favs photographer ? and why you like him/her?
- A: Im a biggish Annie Leibovitz fan.. I think she's fantastic and has done so well for herself. I can only wish to be as good as her.. I doubt I ever will be haha. I can only try. Her photographs are so beautiful and magical, they are always so perfect and portray the subject so well. I can tell a lot of thought has gone into them. I also love the fact shes such a perfectionist because I am too.. and it bugs me, but when I look at her it makes me glad I am too.
Q: Ducky Jnr or ducky , who is the best?
- A: Well, I would have to say Ducky Jnr because otherwise he might fall out with me!! And we can't have that. I think they're due a family reunion sometime soon though :P
Q: What do you think is the most beautiful thing in the world?
- A: Friendship. I think it's something you should never ever take for granted because friends are there because they want to be.. and I think its something you should treasure. I also think it's about quality not quantity. I pick my friends carefully. Sometimes you just click with people, and I think when that happens its really special. I have lots of acquaintances, and only a handful of 'friends'.
Q: Why do birds sing?
- A: Just in case Simon Cowell is in ear shot.
Q: Ducky Jnr - Does it echo when you quack?
- A: "Only when I'm singing with Debbie while bobbing along in the bath" - Ducky Jnr
Q: What made you want to take photography?
- A: Ive always been the creative one in the family. When I was younger I used to draw all the time, and had about a million colouring books! I also taught myself to play the keyboard, I used to play the violin, drums and sing. I also used to do drama, dance, gymnastics and ice skating. So when I left school I wanted to do Photography, but it wasn't an option back then. So I just decided to go for it and enrolled at college, and here I am! And I LOVE it.
Q: What music do you like? :)
- A: Absolutely anything. And I mean that. As long as it doesn't give me a headache. I like all sorts, really. I couldn't define my music taste its so varied. I don't like screamo stuff, I don't like much dance/techno music and I don't like death metal. I think thats about it.
Q: How you find the ideas for your photos? Any secrets for inspiration?:)
- A: Usually they pop into my head for no apparent reason. Sometimes just before I fall asleep or when I've just woken up. I also take a lot of inspiration from song lyrics, as you might have already noticed from my photostream.
Q: What two words would you use to describe yourself?
- A: I was just kidding before haha. I think I'd choose Honest and Loyal. I'm not sure, I'm not very good at describing myself. If anyone wants to add to that then feel free!
Q: What is your most embarrassing moment?
- A: I can't actually think of one off the top of my head! But.. I do know that when I was 3 years old, I went to London with my parents, and they had one of those little harness things so that I could wander about with them still in control of me (a bit like a dog really haha).. Anyway, my Mum wanted a picture of my stood next to one of the guards at Buckingham Palace, so she stood me there and I kept running back to her. So she tied my harness to the railing behind him. I tried running back and because the harness was made of elastic I went springing backwards and landed on my bum. The guard couldn't keep a straight face! tut tut. I'm pretty sure if I knew what was going on at that age I would have been pretty damn embarrassed then!

freshly laid eggs given to me by Nonna-- hard boiled at home with the guidance of Joanne. One oft' repeated step for most of humankind, and a laughable learning moment for me, with miraculously awkward, awesomely loving, deliciously nourishing, and smiling, somewhat painfully confusing at tmes THESE EGGS ARE BANGING are the shared results!
Over a mixed green salad from Maria's Pizzeria in Yorktown Heights (RESPECT!);
with leftover shredded rotisserie chicken, raisins, diced apples--previously soaked in a maple syrup and maple bourbon reduction.
Tossed with banana peppers, and dressed with a combination of banana pepper liquid, light ranch dressing and lemon juice.
