Today, I found these goodies in my vegetable garden.

Ah Capri locals

Little bit of Photoshop...

Unfortunately we don't know how to use the shadow clone justsu yet!

new print in the shop inspired by my little wooden houses.

I just spent a few days on the ocean in coastal Georgia.

There's a place there on the Atlantic south of Savannah they call the Golden Isles.

It's kind of a way out place.

Salt marshes and shrimp boats... sandy beaches and Blackbeard's Island.

There's a lotta history there.

And some buried treasure I gotta find.

Some pretty big fish with some pretty big teeth swim around in those waters...

and we spent a few nights watchin' the shark fishermen throw out big hooks with big baits drink beers while they waited for that explosive pull on the rod that says that they're tied on to a shark.

The Blacktips were out.

Someone caught a seven foot long Tiger Shark.

Just a baby really.

Everyone throws them back.

It's cool to see what comes outta the water.

I dig the ocean.

I love to be close to it...

to be on it...

to feel it.

It fascinates me.

Every day, twice a day a tide of about eight feet rises and falls...

it floods the salt marsh and then goes out.

You can see the stingrays come in like clockwork when it comes up.

The sharks start biting when the high tide goes slack at night.

If you see the Dolphins then you know that the bait fish are around.

And the sharks will be there.

They've seen quite a few Great Whites this year.

I love the way that the ocean is a living breathing thing and it dances it's dance of life right there in front of you.

It's so fascinating to me.

It's always hard when I head back home and I feel like the ocean's so far away.

It calls to me still in soft muted whispers.

It's right there waiting for me.

My soul's been nourished in a way that only the endless waters and the shushing waves can sustain it.

I've been fed by the ocean well.

And the ocean more than any place will always be home to me.

I miss it so much already.

I bought some Mary Engelbritsen (sp?) wrapping paper and decided to make cookies from her design! The only main design change I made was going with a chocolate brown background instead of a black one. And the border is dots instead of a checkerboard. Not super happy with how they came out, as I was having trouble with my eyes staying focused while I did the outlining.

I miss My Camera!!!Today I walked in a pretty street in london..and I saw this fantastic door, but I only had the phone for take a photo..because my camera had a problem with the flash so I brought her to repair!!! I hope to get it back very SOON!!!!

A luxurious bedroom

..saw these two birds enjoying a beautiful winter morning near my home..)

Bird house hanging on a tree in springtime

Somewhere over the rainbow

Way up high,

There's a land that I heard of

Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow

Skies are blue,

And the dreams that you dare to dream

Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star

And wake up where the clouds are far

Behind me.

Where troubles melt like lemon drops

Away above the chimney tops

That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow

Bluebirds fly.

Birds fly over the rainbow.

Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly

Beyond the rainbow

Why, oh why can't I?

(I will be with you forever. In my mind. In my heart)

“I want my children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren to grow up here. We have been here 30 years, this is our home. Many of our people have nowhere else to go. If they demolish the community then we are homeless.”

“...what they should do is rebuild the community, build good quality houses and provide the services that we too have a right to. This is our land, our community,” said
