Hello my friends, I am just returned from a quick but intense trip in the beautiful Asturias. The landscapes in that place are truly amazing, here I want to share you a picture taken few minutes after sunrise when the fog from the ocean rise like a huge silent wave. This place reminded me a scene from Jurassic Park, I wouldn't have been surprised to spot a dinosaur walking in the fog.

I took this while on a walk last weekend in Vancouver and when I ran it through Analog Efx (just playing around for the Sliders Sunday group) this treatment stood out to me as a somewhat symbolic of the heart breaking crisis of separated migrant children in the US who are being denied their childhood, locked up in cages at detention centres, fearing for their future and already deeply traumatized by what they have experienced in their home countries, and now this.

An easy 1 mile hike gets you to this awesome destination in NW Arkansas. This is just a few feet from Eden Falls pictured below.
That's my son, John, and his dog, Vader, visiting Lost Valley for the first time.
At Lost Valley there's multiple waterfalls, and caves and it's just a couple miles from the awesome Buffalo National River.

After a 12 hour meeting yesterday followed by a 3 hour dinner I felt lost in space. Then woke up in the middle of the night. Facing another long day today.

abandoned carbide factory and hydro power plant
Oerlikon 35 tons crane and shaft were built in 1911 and lead deep down to the Hydro Power Plant.
It was unbelievably cold and windy on my hike to reach this lake front view. I even lost $20 as it flew away from my pocket as I was reaching for a lens cap. The view though was totally worth it.
