Following an old loop and this new cut off bypassed about a half mile of the old trail which had not been set. The old trail ran a few hundred feet to the west. Trails in great shape after our record setting warm spell. Some hard thaws set up well after refreezing. 20F

Fairyland Loop in Bryce Canyon. This loop is absolutely beautiful! It is about 8 miles long, but worth the hike! The sun came out for just long enough to take this picture. It was overcast for most of the day.

These shots were taken on my Mums Kodak instamatic camera. I think this was the tour to promote the bands Black Sun EP. Gig was at the Escape Club on Brightons seafront. Support was from the Mute Drivers. Still one of the greatest shows I've ever seen:) Truly Loop were an incredible band and hats off to Robert and Simon for the re-issues of Heavens End and Fade Out:)
A small loop trail is at the top of Madrone Knoll. The map shows it as being 0.2 miles long but we thought it was barely 1/10. Oh, the fallen tree? It was the only obstacle we came across on this hike.
