I had to lay down on the ground to get this shot. That cactus is less than two feet tall.

We took a shore excursion through the cruise line. We took a bus about an hour and a half outside Belize City to the New River, and then a boat ride down the river for about an hour and a half until we reached the Lamanai Mayan ruins.

The sun hadn't reached ground level at this point, but the top of the pear tree was catching the morning sunshine, and this little bird decided to tell the whole world about it, very loudly.
